“I used A&R twice and in short, would recommend them for your automotive service & maintenance needs.
2018 F-150 3.5 EcoBoost with cam phaser rattle, misfire and timing codes (big job) & exhaust leak (resonator delete, small job) on my son’s 2004 Cadillac CTS.
Customer service was great for me both times. Jake, Chad and Christy(spelling?) were very personable, polite, communicated well and provided updates often. Labor price was a little high for the Ford job, but I prefer supporting local family-owned businesses when possible and it was worth it since I’m not physically able to do that kind of work anymore. With a job this big you can expect most mechanics to miss some things here and there (regardless who does it), but the test is what the company/mechanic does in response. I identified issues upon pickup, they listened to my concerns and vowed to make it right. Plus, they gave me a loaner vehicle each time I dropped the truck off to address new issues. I could have used my insurance company for a rental, but didn’t have to because A&R offered one, free/complimentary. This meant a lot since the Ford is my only vehicle. It allowed me to take care of my daily responsibilities without missing a beat. They even did some things I wanted done on the truck, but didn’t pay for because prices can add up quick. I appreciate that.
As for issues I had with my truck after pickup, It would be easy to point fingers and assign blame, but understanding the maintenance process, technology, training, human error, old parts going bad (breaking, tearing, etc. during the process) and newly installed OEM parts being defective right out of the box (this happens) can make a difference in how you view services you receive. This is true regardless who you choose to work on your vehicle. They replaced some parts free of charge, whether they were defective already, they broke them or condition was unknown, which showed their commitment to me as a customer. Ford would not have done this. They would have charged for every little thing, even if they broke it. In the end, you want your vehicle fixed and so does A&R. You want to get on with your life without having to worry about your vehicle anymore (short term) and A&R wants to continue providing a necessary service to our community by keeping us on the road and safe. Reputation means a lot to any family-owned business, which is why I feel they take customer service very seriously. Choosing a big name dealership may or may not be what’s best for you, but I feel they are so big and so powerful, individual customers are not as important to them as their Brand. There’s no doubt in my mind A&R places emphasis on training/feedback to mechanics, lessons learned, customer service and performing quality work. They strive to be better. As long as you, the customer, understand this and don’t have unreasonable expectations you will have a great experience if you choose A&R.
If you are hesitant about where to take your car, I highly encourage you to give A&R a chance. I’m confident they will do right by you. Support your local Family-Owned Businesses. Happy Thanksgiving!

“I worked with Ashley to help change out a headlight bulb for my vehicle. Ashley was great to work with, fast, quick and painless! My wife and I were able to get back on the road within minutes despite out headlight issue. Would gladly go back to this location on account of her incredible communication skills and amazing attitude!
Thank you Ashley!”
“I pulled in to an outside spot abd the crew waved me over to an inside spot. Immediately the crew got to work on the oil change for my truck. It was a friendly experience and will keep coming back to that specific Madison Street location”

“My go-to spot in Clarksville for oil changes. Friendly and fast crew. They are very knowledgeable and open about different options with no shady/pushy up sales. 10/10 Would recommend.”
“The Team of CSR Wesley, Topside John and Bottom side Benjamin was extremely friendly, and professional. There are other VOI in my area and I drive further to use the location FG0012. I trust this team and location very much”
“This is the best Veteran owned tire shop in Clarksville. I always get excellent service from tires to breaks. They are honest about what your vehicle needs. Save your money and go to Gateway Tire & Service Center.”
“The team was great and welcoming. The manager was on site and made it a point to stop and say hello. I’ve used Valvoline for years and this was definitely one of the best experiences I had at any of the many Valvoline stores I’ve visited. I felt so welcomed that I actually bought an added service that was offered by JT. He was chill non-pressured but you could tell he was just doing his job and doing it well. The manager was out there helping the staff and reminded them, “hey guys don’t forget Subaru is a required e-vac” this ensures the quality and reliability of the team. I appreciate a leader that can get into the thick of it with other team members. Keep up the good work!”

“I've been a customer on two occasions, unfortunately, but each time the customer service of this auto repair shop is amazing! Last time I needed a collision repair after an accident. Thanks again for being so helpful! Keep it up”
“Crew here seems solid. Sounds like they’re under new management and the new manager was professional and helpful. Sounds like this location had a bit of a rough patch but from my visit it seems like he’s turning things around. Earned themselves a repeat customer.”
“The service technicians were extremely polite and professional. I felt they wanted to provide the best service possible without pressuring me or making me feel uncomfortable. I trust their work and commitment to the customer.”
“Luis was the man! He helped us every step of the way and went many extra miles to help us with the insurance and warranty company, which was a typical headache. Our pillar cover flew off and needed to be replaced and had a gasket leak. Everything is perfect. Excited to have this dealership as our new place to get work done.”
“Was on a road trip from Florida to Wisconsin and was having low fuel pressure warnings and reduced engine power warnings popping up. I thought it was going to be the frame mounted pump on the 6.7l powerstroke for some where around $1500. Called a few other places as was not having any luck with quick service as I had limited time. Called them up while sitting a couple miles away and they said come on in and they would check it out. They diagnosed it as sucking air, got it all squared away and got me back on the road. $94 for the repair. Great shop, great guys I really appreciate it. They even took some time to recommend some preventative stuff I should do to the truck once I got to Wisconsin, even though they knew they wouldn’t see me again as I was just traveling through. Made it up to Wisconsin and even got the wrap removed while I was here. Thanks for getting me back in the road so quick.”
“Went in for my oil change, a little faster because my engine light came on, which is always unnerving. The workers at my local Valvoline on Dover Rd figured it out, Thank goodness it was just my gas cap wasn't tight enough. I'm glad to see skilled young people working there, especially young ladies. Very good Valvoline!!!”
“Andy and Carl were the lone survivors during the severe winter weather event in 2026. Few businesses were open but they were. And in sub freezing temperatures they agreed to change my truck battery.
Great customer service
Great work ethic
These guys need to be recognized for their resolve.”
“I see now why these people are called the temu car mechanics. These people mess up on just basic maintenance. The other day I go in for an oil change and tire rotation. Sounds normal, right?
Well come to find out the new oil filter they installed was not properly and entirely sealed. So I get in my car to leave my parents house and, I shit you not, as I backup I see this giant puddle of oil sitting in their driveway.
Luckily my dad carries spare oil since he does it himself and was able to help me, love ya pops.
Anyway these people damn near cost me my engine with their fumble. I'm gonna start doing it my damn self at this point or go to ACTUAL mechanics
Update: I took it in and they gave me a free oil change to fix the problem of my oil indicator so I'm glad they are at least courteous”
“RYAN the dude with the dark hair and beard, did an excellent job! From the moment I turned my keys in to the minute I got the alert my car was ready it only took 20min! Thats the fastest I've ever had my tires fixed. I only had 1 nail in 1 tire but he did great! Thank you ryan!”
“Professional begining to the end
