This was an interesting experience. I was involved I'm a wreck on July 2nd, was given a drop off date of September 12th. I received my car back on October 18th. The work was absolutely done perfectly. Great job on the car....what got to me was the lack of communication of when I would receive my car back. I was given 3 different dates. As each date came I called to see when I can come get it and was told " oh we have it scheduled for 4 more days later", and again on that day " we need another week" . It was very frustrating that they actually have a spreadsheet of all vehicles and date of completion. Not once was any of that Information relayed to me. I do want to point out that due to the HUGE delay in my vehicle repair they would assist me with my rental car fees I'm incurring cause I dont have my vehicle and it's been over 35 days since I dropped it off. They were kind and did an amazing job on my vehicle but zero communication to me added alot of unneeded stress to my already hectic lifestyle. A phone call would've made a huge difference in this situation.

My new car was hit from behind while sitting still. After they repaired my vehicle it had a popping noise where it was hit. Took it back and when someone finally looked at it they said they couldn't hear anything. I even left it over night. Now after a little time has passed ,it pops in various places. I wouldn't suggest Browns to anyone!!!! Terrible experience

Full disclaimer: It is totally my fault that I left my weapon in the glove box. I should have checked before I left my vehicle there for repairs. However, when I picked up my vehicle my weapon was gone.Called and spoke with one of the managers about it, he totally defended his guys. Said he's never had a problem like that with any of them, he knows his people and they would never. That's actually awesome that he took up for his people but the fact still remains that a gun was stolen. So this is a cautionary tale, always, always remove anything of value from your vehicles!! Outside of this they do great body repair work!

ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE DO NOT USE!!!I recently was sent here by my insurance company to have a small repair done on my nice custom F250. Upon dropping it off I was told that it would hopefully be done within 1 week. 1 week later I was told that they had forgotten to order the new part so they had just placed the order for it that day and it's going to be at least 1 more week which then turned into 2+ weeks (3+ weeks total).Unfortunately that's NOT the worst part!!Last week I finally pick up my truck and found grease and dirt stains all over my tan leather seats from where their employees had used my truck as some sort of storage locker. 12 hours after I picked up the truck I attempted to restart the vehicle and found that both my truck batteries (2 years old) were completely dead. I immediately called Browns and spoke to the gentleman named Buzz who I had been dealing with for the duration of the repairs. He stated to me... "Yes we knew your batteries had died while it was here but we charged them before you picked it up and that's why we didn't tell you. They must have been old and needed replaced if they are dead". At which point I told him that they were NOT old and it was Browns neglegence that caused this issue. After speaking to the owners Buzz said "we know it's our fault for leaving the doors open and the keys in it the entire time it was here but the owners don't want to cover the costs of replacing your batteries". So now I have to pay out of pocket another $500 to buy new batteries NOT to mention the grease and dirt left on my leather seats!!Do yourself a favor and take your business somewhere else because these guys are crooks!!

The old man doing the estimates is rude. I went to get an estimate and filled out the preliminary paperwork and when the man came out he told me he wasn't going to give me an estimate because it was raining outside and he was not about to get soaking wet. They could've told me this when I went in I'm sure they knew it was raining as well. His tone was very rude. I took my business elsewhere and they pulled my car into their shop which I'm sure they also had here but didn't offer to do it. I'll never go here or refer anybody else again.

Great repair of my Audi Q5 rear end and undercarriage damage. They even had some parts shipped overnight to complete the repair sooner. Highly recommended.Service: Body & Trim

I had 2 accidents this year and they did a great job on the repairs. I did wait 5 months to get my car back. But then a third, and after being told I had a date 3 months out to bring it in I later received an email that read... “As bad as this looks, and as difficult as that vehicle is to work on, and get parts for, we are going to pass on that repair altogether. I appreciate you checking with us and I hope you can find somewhere else to take it to.” Note: The damage was only a rear suv door, no broken glass, not even a tail light. The under carriage was damaged though. Certainly not difficult for an experienced company like Browns.Just seems awfully unprofessional to me. Now I’m back searching for a shop again pushing my wait time out another 2 weeks. Thx Brown.Service: Body & Trim

The reason I give them one star is because I can't give them no stars. The man who does the estimates is the reason. He was very rude, insulted me, let me know right away that he didn't want my business. He obviously hates his job and people in general. He was grouchy, hateful and should not be in a position of Customer Service. If he's that unpleasant to the customers, I'm sure the other employees find him difficult to work with. Life is too short to be in a position that makes one that miserable. He needs to retire or at least find a job that he enjoys. One that doesn't involve working with people.

I needed my rear bumper on my F150 replaced under an insurance claim. With supply chain issues, they still got the part in fairly quickly. When I dropped the truck off, they had it done in less than 24 hours, and even buffed out some of the other dings that a work truck acquires. The price, even if it hadn't been a claim where I personally only owed the deductible, was still good based on other work I've had done in the past. They had even cleaned the inside, which was WAY above the call of duty. Finally found a good body shop here in Middle TennesseeService: Body & Trim

When I called about getting my SUV fixed they weren't very nice. The receptionist said that I couldn't set up my own appt even tho my ins said for me to set up the time that was best for me then they would confirm the time. My insurance was trying to accommodate me by letting me make the appt time then they would confirm with them.

Interesting experience. I brought a car to Brown's to look at because the trunk is tweaked and leaks whenever it rains. I told them the dealership said they couldn't fix it because it was a body shop issue. Before I could finish telling the receptionist, some guy in the corner interjected sarcastically that it's "not our body shop issue" and said they don't do leaks. I asked if they could take a look and he and the others didn't get out of their chairs to even see what the issue was. He just repeated they don't do leaks. I'd say they were just having a bad day, but two years ago I brought my truck to Brown's for a paint job and was treated with the same rudeness as I was today. So I had my truck painted elsewhere. One time could just be someone having a bad day. Twice suggests a bad company/family culture. I will go somewhere else to get the work done, again.Looking at the other reviews, it looks like a general consensus of rudeness by the employees. Maybe they should look at that.

I have been using Brown's for years. They are professional and do great work. Never a hassle.
