Dollar General is a very convenient store that seems to be everywhere, often close to home. It is a general store with all the basic items needed for everyday life, including snacks and other treasures for the home at really affordable prices. The store almost always stays well stocked, though occasionally specific items like milk and bread can be low. It is a convenient stop for goodies while on the road. Sometimes there is a line at checkout, but it is not too long, and the self-checkout is a liked feature. In the past, there were weird hours due to staffing shortages, but that seems to be fixed now, and they are hiring. Customers find it to be a convenient and well-stocked general store.
This is a pretty great DG in Columbia, Tennessee. This store is in a plaza with other stores, so it is quite small, but is pretty neatly spaced inside. There are some sections that are cluttered and messy, so you would definitely not be able to push a buggy through. Staff were nice.

Mary at the dollar store on Hampshire pike store no 12810, was so pleasant and helpful. She went out of her way to find something I was looking for. She enjoys her job it seems, not just doing time. That makes such a more pleasant shopping experience.

I seen an old man fell flat onthe ground in the parking lot one day. The employee did help I will never forget. They have really good holiday items and makeup, and also love there food.
