The worst customer service of any place I have ever dealt with. The postal carrier that fills in sometimes, lies and says “Animal Interference”, when they didn’t even pull in the driveway!! I watch them drive right by. As much money as they make, they need to do their job or quit! The manager is just as useless! I wish I could give negative stars!

I scheduled for a pick up and waited two days and this is the second time this has happened. I’m reading comments about Merchandise getting crammed in the mailbox. I know exactly what you’re going through. I don’t know how many times theyve crammed merchandise in my mailbox and I could hardly get it out , or the box was damaged once, I had to tear apart a hole box and Styrofoam just to get out my merchandise. If you guys aren’t paying these people enough or they’re overworked or they just don’t care , Or maybe two or all three . Who knows. All I know is I’m tired of my mail becoming a hassle.

Have called numerous times because the carriers do not know how to properly deliver a package....if it doesn't fit in the freaking mailbox, they are to freaking lazy to bring to porch! Left packages out in rain several times and it does no good to call supervisors because nothing is ever done!!!! Cramming a pkg in mailbox and having to leave box wide open is UNACCEPTABLE ..... especially in the rain, you would think they would have common sense to know this! Do better Cookeville!!!!!

Lazy postal worker marked “We could not access the delivery location to deliver your package” which was a bold faced lie. Most likely didn’t want to deliver it because it was later in the day. Package will now arrive late if at all. Terrible, and our taxes are funding these workers?….

I'm going to have to get an investigator involved with this post office because if I have a package scheduled for a Sunday delivery in Monterey your RCA never delivers it. Never delivers it! I know the Sunday packages are sorted through the Cookeville USPS and then delivered to Monterey through you. Are they stealing my packages?

The associate who helped us was amazing, she did the process required soo well and gave us 5 star treatment. She was so humble, we loved her. Very happy to hear she was with usps for 25 years. People like her make us come to USPS for similar services.

I just want to say Jessica and Sarah and everyone at the post office are amazing. I was in a panic about mail that we thought was lost. It was indeed delivered, an error with the tracking number but the important thing is everything was resolved. This post office went ABOVE AND BEYOND to help me. Just the best customer service I’ve had in years. They made a stressful situation not so stressful and I thank you all so much and please keep up the good work!

I've been consistently living in the same apartment for the past year and somehow have had 3 green slips, staying my apartment is vacant every time I order through Amazon and notice my package is being delivered through usps. I'm unsure if I'm getting the package. This store has been reliable. Reading the other reviews for this store has made me even angrier. Because this means it's happening to more people than just me. I've never seen any other usps location give these green slips. I have lived in multiple places besides, just Cookeville. This is not the first time I've had to go into the store and tell them to deliver my stuff. This is completely unacceptable.

Brandi was really great to work with during the passport process. We traveled from Lebanon and were able to get an appointment within 24 hrs. Worth the trip!

Absolutely horrible they keep telling me that I need to verify my address and I have signed the same piece of paper three different times within a year now closer to the holidays. I now have to once again verify my address UPS Amazon FedEx I never have a problem with them I’ve always only had a problem with USPS. I don’t understand how I can sign a paper, and still have to keep signing it. When I lived in my first apartment, they marked my apartment as vacant, knowing that I was still living there. I don’t think they know what they’re doing in Cookeville. The way this is ran as horrendous and god awful. They should really be embarrassed. I’ve never had a problem anywhere else with USPS except in Cookeville, Tennessee.

Staff at this location are always helpful and work hard to keep the facility clean and running smooth. Special thanks to postal worker Pam who went out of her way to help us even though it was after lobby hours and she didn’t have to.
