Our food was delicious. Highly recommend stopping here to eat, then walk around a bit before continuing your trip. The views are beautiful and refreshing. There is a large store selling all kinds of fresh fruit, veggies, nuts, and lots of other delicious things. There is a very nice candy store with lots of your candy favorites and many you couldn't even imagine. I highly recommend stopping by even if you have to go a little out of the way.

Nice homey feel. Lots of canned items, apples, some other produce to choose from.Wait staff was nice, daughter loved chicken her dumplings. Said its her favorite resturant now. Kids menu was nice and fair price $6 including drinks.Apple cider was good. Most of the food was good, grilled pork chops were a little blan. A little pricey for adults. Overall great place and atmosphere.

We were visiting for a family getaway and found this place through a quick Google search. We arrived and the landscape is stunning with the mountains and hills of apple trees. The country store had the best atmosphere of country charm and nostalgia. We bought cider, honey, peanuts, ice cream, and hot fried apple pie. The restaurant had the best comfort foods and the sweetest staff. If we're ever in the area again we'll be sure to visit here again.

Great country cooking style food. The view out the large window overlooking the orchard grounds with the mountains in the background is nice as well. The market has a wide selection of fresh apples and vegetables. I found some green tomato relish as well.

The food was good, but the chicken was fantastic! Service was top notch! Everyone was fantastic! The view is a definite attraction. Don't forget to check out the stores! Price was unbelievably reasonable! Totally recommended!Kid-friendliness: They had a blast!

We ate lunch there both days we were in town. I am embarrassed that I got *3* servings of peach cobbler (got one serving to go). It was that good! Will you share your recipe please? I would happily return to your restaurant - all the food was excellent and the woman that waited on us was kind. Like my mom. I live in Wisconsin though, so it's kind of far for lunch. I would love your cobbler recipe - even though I can't duplicate your waitress!

Wonderful experience for the whole family! This takes me back to my childhood of going to pick apples in the orchard, eating all the fresh food, and visiting the shop after for all the local goods. There is also a candy shop, which unfortunately was not open at this time. I guess that gives us an easy reason to come back soon!Food: 5/5

*Update* Returned with family on 12/21/22. Restaurant wasn't too busy. I had the chicken and dumplings and the rest of my family had the fried catfish. The dumplings were great and everyone else said the catfish was delicious and not to bother using the tartar sauce - not needed. Also purchased another apple to try from next door. For us at least, the ever crisp apple turned out to be a very tasty choice! Picked up a pack of fried peanuts to try as well - good - taste like roasted peanuts.Original review:Visited after 3 p.m. on a Thursday in October. We were surprised at just how busy they were. We decided to get our shopping over with before sitting down to eat. They have an amazing selection of apples and, even though they were short-staffed and busy, several employees offered assistance and to answer any questions we might have. We explained that we were looking for a good snacking apple and what we typically liked and she recommended the carousel and cosmic crisp apples. We purchased both, along with some tomatoes and a purple bell pepper to try.The restaurant was clean, well maintained and beautifully nestled within the orchard and surrounding mountains. We were seated promptly next to one of the windows (beautiful views), orders taken and food served in a timely manner with a friendly smile and service.I enjoyed the fried chicken with mashed potatoes and fried apples - hands down the best fried chicken I've had in a really long time. The sides were okay. My mother had the chicken and dumplings with green beans and fried apples. She said her chicken and dumplings were delicious and, since I helped myself to a bite, I concur! ? Yum!Unfortunately, they didn't have any apple fritters available for us to try so we decided to get a couple of fried apple pies to take home instead, along with our large amount of leftovers from the generous portions that were served. The fried pies weren't bad, but neither of us really cared for them. The crust was fairly thick and the filling reminded me more of a chunky applesauce than the type of filling I'm used to in a homemade fried pie.The carousel apples and tomatoes we purchased were delicious. We didn't enjoy the taste of the cosmic crisp apples quite as much. I wish I could tell you about the purple bell pepper. Unfortunately, my malamute must have thought I bought it for him and snatched it off the table for himself. HE gives it 5 out of 5 stars!!! Bless his heart!Overall, both of us are definitely looking forward to returning. The fresh produce was wonderful and reasonably priced as were our meals. Hope to eventually get to try the apple fritters as well as the purple bell pepper my fur baby enjoyed so much!

We were so looking forward to eating here and drove from Pigeon Forge through winding back country roads for the better part of an hour. On arriving, we learned the Restaurant is closed until April 1.

This warm cozy place we found by accident. The found was awesome and the homemade apple pie was absolutely amazing! We ordered breakfast, with their homemade cider, and homemade apple pie. I do not believe I have ever tasted a pie that good made or bought from any other place. Their apple pie was by far the best ever! There was a general store/produce store that was connected to the restaurant. They were selling pickled items, apple butter, homemade cider, fruits and many other things as well.

So, it's touristy, and it can be extremely busy. Like circle the parking lot busy. My mom likes the muscadine jelly sold there. They have unique bird houses. We didn't try the food. It was closed when we got there, but the locals say it's delicious.

Extremely long wait, poor service, mediocre food. Not worth the time or money. Shop at the produce store then go to Cracker Barrel to eat. Visited on Sunday lunch and it was packed. We were a larger party (6) and we put our names on the list at 1pm. Was told the wait would be about "30 minutes". I was guessing about an hour based on the number of people in line -- sure enough, we were finally called at 2pm. Also, they really need to figure out a paging system for those waiting for a table. Page overhead, use a buzzer or text -- something. It's stand in line or lose your spot. We were finally seated at 2pm and waited another 30 MINUTES for someone to take our order. Also there were no free apple fritters or apple cider as indicated by other reviews. We watched the table beside us (who came in at the same time) order while no one even looked in our direction. Finally someone took our order after we approached the staff. No apology or acknowledgement of our long wait. Then it was another 30 minutes for the food. Our apple fritter appetizers never arrived (they were out). The food itself was okay, but nothing to write home about. Fried chicken was hot and crispy, mashed potatoes tasted like instant. Fried pork chop was dried out. The sweet tea was bitter. They were out of rolls and they were finally brought after we had finished our meal -- at least they were hot! The fried apple pie was not good, it had mushy tasteless apples. I can get being understaffed and overwhelmed at a busy time of day, but that still isn't an excuse for the poor service. Not only was the wait time a vast underestimation, it took 30 minutes AFTER being seated for our order to be taken. The least they could have done was apologize and we didn't even get that. The produce store itself was pleasant enough, but I don't recommend the restaurant. Shop at the store and then go elsewhere to eat.
