“Lots of cool stuff to look at and buy in here on top of gas, drinks, snacks and things like that... I like stopping here for tshirts and other cool gadgets when I pass through. I bought a couple really cute maxi dresses here back in the summer for my stepsister and I and a nice mug to drink from or like a cooler cup I guess you could call it...something like that.”
“I can't really say what the shopping experience is like as I pulled in the parking lot to turn around and head in the other direction. It worked very well for that. I would do it again if the need arose.”
“The worker there, Brandon, was super quick to help. We had to exchange some change and he helped up do just that in a quick and timely manner. He created small talk and overall was just a great worker.”
“The cleanest, best-stocked Dollar General I’ve ever been to. Best service, too. Manager/owner was so helpful and personable. We found just about all we needed for our last day of camping. They even had my son’s favorite yoghurt (Chobani flip). Didn’t find firewood, but that was OK.”
“I travel from the Florida Keys to Michigan and have a cabin in Cosby Tennessee. I have stopped at dozens of Dollar General stores along the way. The DG Market in Cosby is the best Dollar General I have been in. I have a cabin just 2 miles from the DG Market and what a great addition to the Cosby area. It is always neat and clean, and product is always stocked up and easy to find. No sifting through a pile to find what may be in there like other stores I have been in. And just as important are the people that work there, kind and always a smile. I do wish more Dollar General stores would convert to a DG Market.”
“We call the owner D. We visit daily for our typical drink snack items. (We're locals) I told him about a certain drink I like the brand of and he had his vendor start to bring my favorite flavors and he stores them in the back freezer exclusively for me. When my daughter comes in with me he gives her a complementary honey stick just to be nice. He memorized our favorite brands of tobacco products and has them ready for us when we come. Gave us his personal number so that on later nights (after work) we can call and see if he's still open (which he usually is till about 11pm sometimes 12 am for weekends). If we've had trouble with our card or the machine reader he's let us go ahead and we sorted out the cost later. One night we came in super late asking if he had any bacon, he went and grabbed us some out if his breakfast supplies and sold it to us even though it wasnt techichally for sale. His store is clean. Theres a bathroom thats not for customers but he's let me use it before in a pinch. He's always happy to see us come in. Hes offered us some of his culture's snacks to try a taste (and they were good). He's even been so kind as to offer to bring us some of his wife's tea she makes him in the mornings. He's like family and he always makes sure we're taken care of. We love him and the store. We have been very happy to visit this place 😊”

“Stopped by for lunch while on the way to the rafting point. Surprised by the delicious home made feel of the food. It was certainly cooked on order. The chicken dumplings left me full.”
