Miss Wanda (Volunteer on Thursdays) gives a 1st hand acct of the history thru the segregation era! She is amazing, as well as the great volunteers in the train room!We felt drawn into the lives of so many that were such a foundational part of America right here in Dickson! We'd love to see her 1st hand accts put to video as is trully one of the greatest assets the museum has!The gift shop & folder of info handed to us at the beginning was just nothing compared to these passionate volunteers involved in the real true life events! We are from Iowa passing thru visiting the Dave Rives Science & Wonders Museum (awesome) so was not on our agenda, but will return 'next' time, hoping to find these dear old saints still with us!($6 per adult; but military discount)

This was such a fascinating place. I learned a lot about Tennessee, Governor Clement and industry. The gentleman that greeted us was extremely knowledgeable. He went out of his way to ensure we had an enjoyable visit, answered many questions and shared interesting bits of knowledge with us. This spot is well worth a short diversion!!

We’re from Chattanooga and visiting family here in Dickson we decided to explore downtown. This local museum is well worth it! Martha gave such an amazing tour! It was great to learn the history of Dickson and learn more about Governor Clement. It is so wonderful to see local history flourishing and still being shared. Thank you to those who help keep this alive.

We rented the Clement Railroad Hotel Museum dining room and kitchen for a wedding rehearsal dinner. Zack was extremely easy to work with, especially since we were planning the event from out of state. Zack and Tyler were very gracious setting up additional tables and laying out all of the tablecloths. The museum was a beautiful setting whether or not you are a history buff. We were delighted that Zack is so knowledgeable and helped us capture the significance of the building’s role in the former Governor Frank Clement’s and the state’s history. We highly recommend this facility for the more sedate and refined gathering.

Very nice museum packed with interesting history and artifacts. One of the workers, Zach (Maybe spelled Zack) was incredibly helpful and informative and walked us through certain exhibits and gave thorough details on many parts of the museum. Would highly recommend this museum.

I love trains and history. This was a good stop for both. The model railroad display is a dream of mine some day. Our host was excellent in his knowledge. I don't think I've ever met someone so into his job before. His excitement was undeniable. This was a good stop on our trip.
