“This place has been around since father time. Used to eat a good hot lunch here back in the late 90's! and worked there making pizzas in the early 2000's. I've heard it's changed owners since then and doesn't have the same flare to it.Still what it is a pretty convenient, convenient store.”

“Our stop at Shell / Twice Daily/ White Bison turned out to be so much more than a quick break — it became a powerful reminder that kindness and humanity still exist in the world. We were basically stranded, stressed, and unsure of what to do next. But the moment we walked through those doors, everything shifted.
The customer service and hospitality were truly exceptional. Four of the staff members went out of their way to help us — not because they had to, but because they genuinely cared. They offered guidance, patience, and emotional support in a way that felt personal and sincere. They didn’t treat us like just another pair of travelers — they treated us with dignity, empathy, and heart.
These days, living in this society isn’t easy. The world can feel harsh and impersonal. But at that gas stop, we found peace, calmness, and a rare sense of respect. And it made a lasting impact. That one experience reminded us how meaningful it is when people show up for each other — and it inspired us to do the same, to carry that goodness forward in our own lives.
The station itself was clean, safe, and fully stocked — the bathrooms were spotless, the coffee was fresh, and the energy inside the store was calm and comforting, especially their music selection. It reminded me of our Spotify playlists. White Bison Coffee is also a newer coffee company that had amazing coffee for a great price. They also have a nice tea selection and the packaging/branding quality is fantastic.
We wholeheartedly recommend this specific Shell / White Bison / Twice Daily location to anyone — not just for fuel or convenience, but for the kind of care and respect that’s hard to find these days. But more than anything, it was the people who made it extraordinary.
To the ALL of the staff who helped us:
Thank you. A million times over. Your genuine hospitality made all the difference during one of our hardest moments, and we’ll never forget your kindness. You all deserve a raise.

“Went in a couple weeks ago and I had two drinks, lady -(not ringing me up) grabbed a black bag and I said “no bag please” and her reply was “you don’t want it cause it’s black?”. I’m mixed, I find it funny but I imagine most mixed/aa people would not.”
“This is where I get fuel for my car in town. I've never had my car run badly off their fuel and I have to use premium fuel only.They also don't seem to jack their fuel prices up as much as the other stations doThe man working here has always been nice and helpful.Only downside is having to turn left out of parking lot as it is in a bad spot due to N/S traffic and crossroad traffic.”
“My husband and I ate at this location for the first time tonight. Great service. Awesome sandwiches. The staff were friendly and upbeat. It was a refreshing experience for a franchise we're familiar with and we're thankful it is in Chapel Hill!”

“I had a collision around 8:00 PM with a deer on I 65 north bound just before the exit the Bizz Mart is located on. I managed to get my car off of the interstate and into their parking lot. They were very kind and allowed me to leave my car parked there until my insurance company dispatched a tow, which turned out not to be until the next afternoon. I had to use the men’s restroom a couple of times before my ride home arrived, and it was super clean as well. The gentleman inside the mart was very kind and understanding of my predicament. I will make an extra effort as I travel by here weekly to stop by and buy my gas and to buy some of their tchotchke and a lotto ticket or two from inside their store.”
“It's on one of my usual routes, the gasoline is competitively priced, and the pumps work after hours with a card. No comment about the actual store as I do not know.”
“I generally don't rate gas stations but saw their current rating ay a 1 which is not right.The family who runs this place puts a lot of love into their little business. They have a community pantry up front to help out the people in need in the area.They make and sell a ton of freshly made biscuit dandwiches every morning which are much better than other gas stations breakfasts and I've been eating them daily without issue. They also serve bbq they make in their smoker to the side of the building. I had the zucchini bread recently and it was pretty good!The owners don't know me as I haven't been around very long in the area and they always are very friendly. The owner got very excited about the biscuits when I asked about them. You have to get there early for the biscuits as they go quick!If you don't like the price of gas don't 1-star a mom and pop business. Take that to a Love's who are always 20-30% higher than other gas stations.”
