“Seriously one of the best thrift stores I've ever been to!
This home town shop is what thrift stores are supposed to be. Do not miss out on going here if you're in Chattanooga! They had a great selection of items. The women's clothes and shoes in particular had such a great variety of unique and beautiful pieces! They have bag sales and great deals on a regular basis! All the clothes were clean and beautiful. Love this store and will be back!”
“one of the best thrift stores I have been to! friendly staff, and I appreciate the quality of the clothes, and the thought that goes into the vintage items that they sell.”

“The ladies at this store are very kind and helpful. It is a pleasure to shop there. I have also donated items, which are accepted with smiles. The prices are affordable, and they offer a punch card to receive a loyalty bonus. Keep up the good work, Ladies! Your kind efforts are truly appreciated!❤️”
“Staff has been great for years. Their nonprofit mission is fulfilled by giving low cost, good quality clothes and household items to those in need. Sales benefit the Signal Mountain Welfare Society. Please donate good things you don’t need to them and patronize!”

“I have shopped here for over 20 years, Ms. Shirley has been like a mother, therapist, and a best friend to me. She's seen me at my worst, my best, and everything in between. These people are like family to me, they always welcomed me with a smile and kind words. It really is the best thrift store in Chattanooga. They went up on their prices, but you are still getting a gooddeal. The quality is great, and they're very fair. I love this place! I would like to keep it a secret but the cats outta the bag, so enjoy. They do great things, Thank you NNH!”

“Casual shopper. Staff is friendly and excellent. Price is very affordable. You won't believe how many people I see day in and day out trying to bargain off a $1 item and how many stupid arguments people can get into the staff had they just simply follow their policy like taking furniture through the side door instead of the front while I'm over here in the back minding my business trying to shop. I found 4 nice jeans if I can get them in my size all for $20.”
“The people there are the best. This is a wonderful charity. They do so much good for children. Unfortunately, you'll have to go to a bakery for a cream horn.”

“This is one of the best thrift stores I have found. The prices are reasonable for those shopping on a tight budget. They have a good costume jewelry selection. Unfortunately most of it is beyond the reach of wheelchair users. Great selections of clothing, toys, and such.”
“I pay $58 every month to get my medication from Medi Thrift instead of getting it free at CVS. Medi Thrift is what pharmacies are supposed to be. I have been in there twice when the pharmacist noticed something off with someone's prescriptions and intervene very possibly saving those people's lives when their doctor gave them something they shouldn't have had. That is never going to happen at a mega chain drugstore.”
“The staff in this salvation army are very caring and sweet!! They have alot on their plate helping everyone and they do good with their system. Thank you so much for helping me!! God bless”
“On my way to work one brisk December morning, I realized I left my work shirt (black polo) at home! Frantic, I called Providence at 8:20 am (store opens at 9am, same time I had my first client appointment) and in hopes of asking if I might be allowed to make a purchase before my first client…A kind man obliged and let me buy a shirt 15 minutes before opening! ABSOLUTE SAVIOR of the day! Eternally grateful to the kind gentlemen who assisted me… he even went as far as to pre-browse the shirts before I arrived and picked out a selection for me to look through!!20/10 customer service today!!!! Blessings!!!”
“I love the cottage, I've found great items here and things are not over priced, fits my budget, I can usually find what I'm looking for at the cottage, great place,”

“The best place to find a bargain. This year is Goodwill's 100th birthday. ? Our team enjoyed in celebrating this success. We also look forward to what the future brings.”
“I shopped here for the first time today & I loved it!! Staff was friendly & the store was clean. Loved the prices! I will definitely be shopping here often!”
“Everyone that works here is go with the flow and friendly! I love this place to peddle away a few hours rummaging through the electronics and finding new DVDs/vhs”
“Visiting Nooga for the weekend and as with any trip I search out the "treasure" stores. America's Thrift didn't disappoint. Reasonable prices, excellent selection and impeccably organized. Such an absolute joy and relaxing time.”

“I stopped in this location on 1/30, and had a great experience . The store was full of great deals and very well organized, discounts were posted clearly and the staff was great. I plan to stop in again when I visit the area in May.”
“I’ve been coming here for 20 years but have never seen it so well organized and clean. Walk in the door and see straight clean lines of clothes. Puts regular department stores to shame!! Found some treasures and very friendly staff. Keep up the good work Goodwill!! Love the music too! ?”
“Review: Chattanooga Goodwill – A Hidden Gem Just Off I-75
On a recent interstate trip, I made a quick stop at the Chattanooga Goodwill, and I have to say—it was one of the best thrift stops of the entire journey.
First off, this store is clean, spacious, and well-organized, which is always a win when it comes to thrift shopping. The inventory was solid, with a good mix of clothing, books, and household goods, all at reasonable prices. The staff was helpful and friendly, which added to the overall positive experience.
Beyond the usual 50% off color tag sale, they also had a $1.29 special on anything with a color tag, which made for some even better finds. I managed to pick up a few books and a nice pair of pants, and I easily could have grabbed more if my car hadn’t already been packed to the brim.
Location-wise, this spot is super convenient—just minutes off I-75, with an easy-on, easy-off setup. If you’re passing through Chattanooga and need a quick thrifting fix, this one is definitely worth a stop.
Rating: 4 out of 5 stars – great selection, solid deals, and a well-kept store. The only thing holding me back from a full five stars is that I didn’t have more room in m”
“Becca always has the friendliest smile and attitude. She is our favorite checkout employee of all. We always enjoy shopping at the Hixson Goodwill because of the great employees. We do find that the prices have gotten completely out of hand though. We have been shopping at this location for several years and the prices increase is insane. Yes we understand that a large percentage of the profit goes back into the organization, however, the items are donated!!! We have found so many items that are 80 - 90 percent of retail. I think you tend to forget, these are used items and not new. We saw two matching pieces of furniture. Obviously they went together. One was 59.99, the other one was 79.99! ??? I actually found an item at Home Depot cheaper than the used item on your shelf!!!”
“Pleasantly surprised at the selection of long skirts (I don't wear pants or shorts), it's not often I find such a treasure trove! Store is clean and organized, and the staff was super friendly. Far superior to it's Fort O counterpart.”
