“The most polite individuals and one of the cleanest stores I’ve thrifted. Their selection of clothing, shoes and handbags was fantastic . Plenty of ornamental jewelry as well. I was blessed to have found this store by happenstance.”
“I bought a really cool vintage denim jacket here that I love! Some of the items are a bit pricey so it's not your typical inexpensive thrift store, but if you really look you can find a great deal like my denim jacket!!!!”
“I was Blessed to take a tour of the 'Ladies of Charity thrift store' today. These wonderful ladies were working throughout the back room & upfront retail. Everyone had various stations and were very efficient. It was an inspiration to witness dedicated Christians at work for Jesus. Priscilla from St Stephens who volunteers in many organizations is a treasure in helping others as these ladies were in this worthy cause to help the homeless and seniors in need. May God Bless you all and have a Blessed Thanksgiving!”
“one of the best thrift stores I have been to! friendly staff, and I appreciate the quality of the clothes, and the thought that goes into the vintage items that they sell.”
“Me and my daughter stopped by looking for little people! They were so nice. The store was very clean. They actually had 1 set left they gave us for free because it needed cleaned. If you look for little people you know how kind that was. My baby is going to love it.”
“I have been in dire straights lately and needed to sell some stuff quickly. Thomas was very friendly and extremely helpful! He helped me through a rough time by getting my stuff sold and getting the money to me asap. They always have new equipment passing through and it moves quickly. Visit often!”

“I always have a great time shopping here, the prices are always reasonable and the staff is always friendly. Morgan the cashier was super helpful and fun to chat to. I will be donating here in the future.”
“Staff has been great for years. Their nonprofit mission is fulfilled by giving low cost, good quality clothes and household items to those in need. Sales benefit the Signal Mountain Welfare Society. Please donate good things you don’t need to them and patronize!”

“Casual shopper. Staff is friendly and excellent. Price is very affordable. You won't believe how many people I see day in and day out trying to bargain off a $1 item and how many stupid arguments people can get into the staff had they just simply follow their policy like taking furniture through the side door instead of the front while I'm over here in the back minding my business trying to shop. I found 4 nice jeans if I can get them in my size all for $20.”

“This is one of the best thrift stores I have found. The prices are reasonable for those shopping on a tight budget. They have a good costume jewelry selection. Unfortunately most of it is beyond the reach of wheelchair users. Great selections of clothing, toys, and such.”
“Small thrift store with amazing staff. Just a head’s up - check the store hours before you go. Hours and days are limited. I know other reviewers mentioned only being able to use cash or checks. They recently started accepting Venmo. I have found something cool in there every time I visit- especially in the housewares and linens. The half price sales run regularly and are my fave time to shop!”

“Very nice clothing n good prices i love their
staff and i like all the kitchen cooking stuff they have very cute decorations as well come n visit this little thrift store but full of good stuff”
“They have no business playing such good music. Every time. Today I left there with some clothes, a dresser, and three new songs in my Spotify library. The cashiers always seem to be friendly and full of personality. Probably because their music slaps and puts them in a good mood.”
“Came in today and thrifted a classical guitar and guitar bag for only like 80 bucks! guitar in amazing condition for the price, and the bag was of amazing quality. Also found some other cool things, i will be back here for sure! Fair prices and nice employees.”
“Five stars, greeted everyone that came in with a smile. Also, the pricing is better than goodwill. I don’t live here but would be blessed to have a thrift store that n my town that’s good.”

“The best place to find a bargain. This year is Goodwill's 100th birthday. ? Our team enjoyed in celebrating this success. We also look forward to what the future brings.”
“This is my favorite local Goodwill. Sadly I won’t darken the doors again when it becomes only clothes. The one up Battlefield Parkway is subpar. I can always find good deals and friendly staff here.”

“I love this place so much. Good rotating inventory, they make the most of their small space. Good selection of plus size clothes, kids, jewelry, home decor. I rarely leave here without something!”
“A little disorganized and messy, but you might end up finding something interesting. We were just here for a stroll after dinner and ended up finding a Deal or No Deal electronic game.”
“I just want to say when I walked in Battlefield Parkway Goodwill I was so surprised as soon I walked in I said to my mom wow this place is packed up and full of stuff and it looked so nice clean and organized and I actually seen the workers were working hard to keep this Goodwill up . I have to say I have only been to one other Goodwill compared to the Battlefield Parkway Goodwill and it was in Nashville Tn. And I visit Goodwills quit often . It was stocked with such nice things and so many things to look through. I Also seen the manger working hard with her employees and speaking to customers and greeting them it was so nice and one sweet employee name Emily was so sweet to me and my mother and she was working hard! It shows that this store could be be a big example for all the other Goodwills in the Chattanooga and North Georgia area to step there game up and try a little bit harder to impress your customers and greet your customers!!! I have to say I am so proud of the Battlefield Parkway Goodwill and thank you to the Manger Deena for your hospitality and service!!! Kudos to the Fort Oglethorpe Battlefield Parkway, Goodwill. Nice work guys.!!! I’ll be shopping with guys a lot more at your store!!”
“In the heart of Redbank, Tennessee, nestled between the comforting aroma of Lilly Mae’s diner and the shining sedans of the local car dealership, stands Red Bank Thrift—a store with as much charm and character as its owner, Chris Shirley.
Chris, a spirited Georgia Bulldogs fan, has infused Red Bank Thrift with an eclectic mix of sports memorabilia, making it a shrine to his beloved team. Visitors can always count on a hearty debate about last weekend's game or a spirited prediction for the season ahead, all delivered with Chris's signature grin.
But beyond the Bulldog banners and game-day chatter, Chris’s true passion lies in serving those around him. Red Bank Thrift is much more than a store; it's a sanctuary for people from all walks of life, especially those facing tough times.
Whenever a devastating house fire strikes someone in the community, Chris is the first to step up, providing clothes, furniture, and whatever else he can gather from his shelves. “No one should feel lost or alone,” he'll say as he hands over a bundle of essentials to those who need them, ensuring a swift return to dignified daily life.
As the chill of winter rolls over Redbank, Red Bank Thrift transforms into a warm refuge for the homeless. Chris extends an invitation to anyone seeking shelter from the biting cold. With floors lined in blankets and hot meals dished out with a side of cheer, the store becomes a sanctuary. Soup pots simmer over converted hot plates, and the laughter and conversations shared beneath the glow of overhead lights provide warmth beyond what any temperature can measure.
During these quiet, comforting evenings, Chris shares more than just food and warmth. He speaks of his faith with an earnest simplicity, witnessing to his guests about Jesus and the promises of hope and salvation. His words offer an added layer of solace, encouraging others to find faith in difficult times.
Amid juggling the shop, helping those in need, and indulging in his beloved Bulldogs, Chris somehow manages to make each person feel valued and important. Whether finding the perfect warm coat for a shivering shoulder or sharing a hot cup of coffee over tales of past games, Chris's presence is a constant source of joy and support.
For those lucky enough to call Chris a friend, his kindness is an unending source of inspiration. While his plate seems impossibly full, Chris always finds room for one more act of selflessness. His actions don’t merely serve; they uplift and unite the community, knitting together the lives of many who visit his little store on the corner of Redbank.
In a world often shadowed by challenges, Chris Shirley shines a bright light, showing everyone that true wealth lies not in possessions, but in the depth of giving and the strength of friendship.”
“I made a large donation at the Hixson location and the 2 staff members there couldn't have been better. They were courteous, helped me unload and thanked me for my donation. I will be choosing this location for donations going forward.”
“This is usually my favorite goodwill to go to but I’ve never had any positive encounters until today! I want to shout out Jennifer since she went above and beyond with her amazing customer service! To asking if I needed any help and giving me suggestions based off items I was planning on purchasing. She was so sweet and made my entire day<3 also shout out to Latissa at the register! She handles those lines like a beast solo”
