“We came to see the Ft Oglethorpe area to join famfor thanksgiving from North Carolina. Unfortunately our cooling system failed and we had to have our radiator and radiator fan replaced so we could get back home. The owner worked us in even though they were booked for a week and completed a major repair for a very reasonable price. I chose this shop because of their average 4.9 ratings. I am impressed with the quality of the service and not getting overcharged when we were in a difficult position. The owner is a straight shooter. If we lived in the area he would be our mechanic. TEN STARS.**********”

“Traveling home to Indiana from Georgia in the rain and road construction when we got a low tire pressure warning for a rear tire. Googled tire repair near me and got Speedy's. Got to them just before quitting time and explained our situation and they took of us by removing a nail and patching our tire. I can not be any more appreciative of an automotive company. I am sure I was the last thing they wanted to see at closing time yet they treated us professionally and with respect. If I lived locally they would be my car care center of choice. “They rebuilt my CVT transmission in my Nissan Murano 2 years ago and it still runs better than it did originally. The price was less than the dealership and I trust them more than the dealership. Nissan CVTs are problematic but they know how to breathe new life into them.”

“These guys are fantastic! Monday afternoon I was traveling thru Chattanooga when the dashboard told me that the battery was not charging. I needed to go to Kingsport that evening and knew that my truck would not make it just on the battery. I have had my truck repaired at Hixson Transmission in the past and immediately called them. They didn’t make any promises, but were willing to check it out. I pulled in just after 4:00 PM and a technician checked it out and confirmed that the alternator was barely working. They offered to get it done the next day, but when I explained that I really needed to be in Kingsport and was not prepared to stay the night in Hixson and that I had my wife and grandson with me, they immediately ordered the part, and removed the old alternator. The new one was delivered and installed quickly and we were on our way shortly after 5:00 PM. These guys really hustled and even stayed a little over to help us out! I would recommend them unconditionally!”

“Recently had my engine overhauled at S&S Auto by Walter, who I am told is the Subaru wiz. Work was done quickly and the full estimate was thorough. I do a lot of work on the car my self but I know my limits with doing work so I am very happy with who I trusted to do the work. “Hubs took his car in to get his brakes checked, since we now live in mountain country and his brake pedal suddenly went down to the floor. They also checked his front alignment for free and promised to only work on it if it needed it. Well, it needed it (not really surprising). They had the car for three days. We picked it back up in the afternoon of the third day. While it wasn't cheap, by any means, they did do a bit of work on it. Now it rides better than it ever has since we bought it (used), and the brakes feel fabulous.

“Amazing experience today!! I called today after experiencing an issue with my vehicle suddenly, around the block from the shop. I was scared and worried. He told me to bring it on down for them to check it out instead of having me wait for it to be checked out. We were there about an hr but they found the issue and had us fixed right up. He blessed us, and only asked us to keep them in mind when we need our brakes & rotors changed. I can not put into words how grateful I am for that. We had a great experience here, the gentleman we spoke with was Nick. Very funny and great customer service and a blessing. If you need any work done, please go see these guys!!! “I got hit in a parking lot over a year ago. My car was fixed and I thought it was okay. Flash forward one year- my car has almost every dashlight on and the steering wheel was tight. I had to do something and I couldn’t go back to the person I’d originally had to repair my car.
The owners of J&J are local to Chattanooga, and I work with one of their daughters. Knowing this family somewhat, I felt that they were trustworthy people. I was so right. They went above and beyond for me! My car was in bad shape- electrical work, multiple parts needed replaced, etc. (also, it’s a 2016 Dodge Dart…if you know you.)
They found all the parts, (used- to save me money! But they will also buy new if wanted or needed.), did the electrical work beautifully, and really outdid themselves.
All dash lights are off, it drives perfectly, my steering wheel is fixed. And the price was extremely fair for the amount of labor done!
They told me that they want to take care of the people that come to them, and it’s true. If you’ve been searching for an honest, good, professional mechanic- then you’ve definitely found them! Choose J&J. You won’t be disappointed. <3”
