“Come by & meet the fine folks here. They really make you feel so welcome & truly valued! They are such wonderful people & are willing to help, anyway that they can!Experience their hospitality & their services for yourselves! You'll be thrilled that you did!”
“The workers are very friendly and offer to help when you need them. If they have a monumental sale, they will inform you. The only problem is that the store is a little crowded”
“Great place to get affordable meats including steaks. Would highly recommend their budget cut ribeye. But they do charge an extra 10 percent on the bill at the register.”
“Been a customer of this store for over 50 years and longer for other family members. It has changed ownership several times over the years and been remodeled as many times.Now-a-days, many folks don't know how it got it's name. There was an oak tree in the middle of the road for decades. It was massive and outdated me. Age finally caught it and it died. A replacement was replanted, but in the interest of safety, it was removed.”

“I was truly impressed by how well the shelves were stocked for an upcoming winter storm, a major snow event. The young woman that checked me out was so sweet, incredibly friendly, & truly helpful.
I always enjoy shopping at the DG Market in Lexington, AL. It's always a wonderful experience.”
“Very economical with digital coupons that can save you lots of money. Coupons you want can be easily loaded from the Dollar General app on your android or iOS phone. Every Saturday a coupon for $5 off your purchase of $25 dollars is available on the app. You can use multiple digital coupons on each purchase but if you wanted to spend $50 using the Saturday $5 off $25 coupon twice you must divide the transactions to make it 2 separate ones. That coupon is only available once a week on the app but you can also find that coupon at the bottom of your receipts most of the time. Prices are good without the coupons but those 2,3 dollar coupons add up before you know it. So easy to use the digital coupon app by clicking on the coupons you want it automatically saves them to your profile.”
