I participated in a Black Diamond experience as a corporate team building activity and it was so much fun! Kris and Tim graciously welcomed us to their beautiful home and led us through making bruschetta and fresh pasta. The class was thoughtfully paced to leave us plenty of time to socialize. The food and wine were delicious. Highly recommend for a group outing in Franklin!

My husband and I received a gift card for a cooking class at Black Diamond as a wedding gift. Kris welcomed us into her home and tailored a private lesson for us. She taught us knife skills, how to make delicious Spaghetti Bolognese from scratch, and finished it off with homemade cannolis. We had a wonderful evening with her! She even sent us home with all of the leftovers!

My husband and I tried out Black Diamond Culinary cooking class in Franklin, TN for a new date night idea. It was fantastic!! Kris greeted us so warmly and the place is amazing. Upscale and well designed. We joined 6 other couples in the class. You sit at a U shape island. When you sit down you are welcomed with a wine option and a description about it. This particular class was focused on making homemade noodles for lasagna. You get a little history lesson about the dishes made. We got to enjoy a meal there and got to take a meal home for this particular dinner class. They do corporate events, school classes and have many other options. I highly recommend them! I have already told all of our friends and family if they are tired of the same ole restaurant date nights and want to try something unique they need to check out Black Diamond Culinary and book a class in the new year!

Kris and her team were so accommodating with our 3-day cooking event for our school. She was enthusiastic to receive us and excited about the possibility of getting young people cooking. She was able to work with our schedule and maximize dishes so students could get the most out of our time together. She had different tasks planned for each small group and got everyone involved. Our students enjoyed the dishes that Kris had planned and helped us execute. Kris was hospitable, warm, and welcoming. Thanks again for all wonderful hospitality and great lessons!!

Black Diamond is the place to host a special gathering. Kris welcomed 15 members of our extended family for a 4-course dinner. The food was amazingly delicious, the wine and iced tea were great, and the layout was perfect – we were able move around and socialize before sitting down. The U-shaped configuration of the dining bar/counter is ideal for a full party conversation or break-out group discussions. We left very well satiated as well as educated about our meal in addition to cooking staples (know your olive oil.) Black Diamond provides a better “togetherness” venue than any restaurant’s private dining room and Kris will make sure you and your party have a wonderful, memorable time.

We hosted a birthday celebration. Too large for a class but we all learned a lot about preparing each course and were treated exceptionally well by Kris throughout the evening.
