Do not use Budget. They have multiple times not given me the car class I reserved. They have never honored a promotion that they they have offered. Customer service has no clue what they are talking about and keeps transferring you to different agents if they can't fix the problem. We will never use budget again.

They close sharp at 5 on weekdays and at 12pm on weekends. You won't get a car hear unless you boomed before 4pm yesterday

Believe the reviews. This place is horrible. I returned my car on time (10:30), but had to wait in line, so was at the counter about 10-15 minutes later. A very grumpy lady asked “do you have the mileage”. I didn’t, so I went back to the car to get the mileage. When I came back, I had to wait in line again. Once I made it back to the counter and gave her the mileage, she took the key and said she would send me an e-receipt. I never got an e-receipt. When I checked my credit card I saw that I had been charged and additional $157. When I went back to inquire about the charges, the man at the counter said I had been charged for an extra hour because I returned the car late (11:04). This is demonstrably false. I sent a text at 10:48 to my ride home saying I was finally done at the counter. The man said he couldn’t do anything on his end and that I had to call customer service. After explaining the situation to the customer service representative, she said “let me offer to remove 50% of that charge for you.“ Wow, what a great deal. 50% off of a late return charge, when I returned the car on time. After insisting they remove the entire late fee, I was told I would see the full refund in 3-5 business days. We’ll see…Stay away from this location. In fact, I will be avoiding Budget/Avis all together, and I recommend you do too.

My rental confirmation said $103.86. They wanted to charge me $181.82 at pickup... for a 24 hour rental. Explanation was a guess at best that the upcharge was a hotel location surcharge. Absurd rental rate got even more absurd at pickup but without a definite explanation of charges? No hotel charges an $80 location surcharge, especially not in Franklin, TN. No itemization presented, and there were no attempts to resolve this discrepancy. Walked out without a rental and won't be back.

If you want a a business that’ll happily take your money then refuse to rent to you or tell you why, then this is the place for you. This is my second atrocious experience with renting from Budget. Never again.

This place is pathetic. Please don’t rent a car from them. I had the same issue as a previous review. Rented the car for 12 pm pick up on Sunday. Apparently they close at 12 and didn’t want to accommodate me at 12:04. I had to pay them $20 cash to give me the car. The car was awful. Dirty and smells were horrific. I called on Monday to switch it out and they refused to accommodate me. They said they had no cars, but if I go online to book at 4pm the same day— it lets me reserve. He said if I came then they wouldn’t have a car. I’ve called their customer service 3 times now and gotten nowhere. I’ve talked to the “manger” of the location and he was just as bad. I hope all budget rental pickups are not like this one. They don’t care at all!!! If they had an option for negative on the stars I would have!

Prepaid and pre registered for a pick up at 5:30pm, not knowing they closed at 5:30. I arrived at 5:32pm and they told me I couldn’t pick up the car, even after confirming they scheduled a 5:30 pickup. Called customer service and they apologized and said they should have stayed open if they knew there was a pickup scheduled. This was my 5th rental in the past 45 days, will never rent from Budget or Avis again.

Will never rent a car from here again, their rates are higher for walk ins . Vs on online rates And you are forced to get thier insurance. Over priced 4 day rental med size car total was 750.00 . Never again

Made a reservation through priceline. Everything seemed great. Went the next day to pick it up. They said they had to run some kind of soft credit check on my debit card?!? Never heard of this. But anyways, they ran it and said they couldn't rent me a car. My credit is average but it shouldn't stop me from renting a car and they said it wasn't a real credit check anyways. This wasted half of my morning because most other rental spots didn't have a car. I wouldn't trust them to rent a car from ever again. Budget and Avis, cause it's the same place. Steer clear and find a car rental place that will actually rent you a car. From the looks of the other reviews it doesn't seem great anyways.

Renter beware. If you're reading this review prior to renting, smart move. This location is an owner/operator franchise. My rental was dirty (food crumbs, paper trash). Returned the car as is and was charged $75 cleaning fee for dog hairs and dog saliva on window. Never had a dog in the vehicle. Owner refused to refund cleaning fee.

Awful customer service. You think you’re renting from Budget, but you’re actually renting from some franchisee who runs the place like it’s a mom and pop place. He doesn’t care anything about your status or loyalty to Budget, and has no clue how to take care of a customer. He lacks professionalism, and is an embarrassment to the Budget organization. Read the other reviews, and stay away.

This is the worst place to make a reservation. You ll receive a call an hour before scheduled pick up to inform you that they are not having cars.Same experience two times. Never book at this location.

We have used this place before to rent vehicles. Often we use Costco travel for our reservations and payment. I will never use this place or budget Rent-A-Car again.My wife and I showed up at what was a reasonable hour, just after 5:30 PM, with the business formerly open every day until 6 PM during the week, as the permanent sign stated. The temporary sign has been placed across the 6 PM and the hours have been shortened to 5:30 PM . Another customer also showed up around the same time. Employee was on site and lowering the gate outside the desk at the time my wife arrived. The person refused to delay, closing the gate, and, further, refused to rent the car to her or the other customer. We had planned to leave early on a Saturday morning for a vacation.We changed the reservation to 9 AM the following morning, assuming we will get a later start. Today, we showed up, but unfortunately, the employee was nowhere to be found. We waited for 45 minutes and the employee was nowhere to be found. We were forced to cancel our reservation and make other plans.If you use this business, you risk serious delay or cancellation of your plans due to incompetence or lack of service. Strongly, recommend not ever using this location. Personally, having spoken to some of the telephone staff about the issue, this appears to be a corporate problem The lack of caring and understanding spreads much further than this particular location.Never again.

NEVER USE THIS RENTAL LOCATION! They have horrible customer service. I made a reservation got a confirmation the day before so all was great right? I took an Uber over to pick up my rental only for them to say they have no car for me sorry. When asked to speak w the manager the guy said we don't have anything to do with budget we are just a location. That makes no sense whatsoever. If you are running an affiliated rental with budget you should have some responsibility for your reservations. They did nothing for me I had to call 1800 number to get my reservation changed and Uber to the airport! Do yourself a favor and stay clear.
