Incredibly disappointing! I recently had a car shipped here and when it arrived I could not drive it because of a check engine light and multiple dash board lights. Why on Earth would any business ship a vehicle that already needed maintenance? It took them over a week to diagnose and another 10 days (ish) to complete the maintenance. Transfer fee was refunded and back to the drawing board for shopping. Second vehicle was shipped and it sat in the Nashville area for several days before I was notified it was ready for a test drive. When I arrive to look at the car it was horrendously dirty, not vacuumed, debris everywhere inside and musty odors inside the vehicle. C'mon man! What kind of business are these clowns running? I WILL NEVER USE CARMAX AGAIN. To top things off, the communication process for shipping the autos and updating the status of the vehicles was virtually non-existent. Truly an overall flop of an experience. Do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere.

Clayton was my salesperson and he did an outstanding job of answering my questions and providing me with a wonderful experience. As a female, I worried that I'd be a target for a greedy, unethical salesman who would try and take advantage of my presumed lack of knowledge about cars and the car buying process. I felt he wasn't trying to get over on me and worked with me to find the right car for me. Would highly recommend him and this particular CarMax location for their broad selection of vehicles.

I had a great experience while purchasing my new vehicle. I was very upset though, once I was in and headed home. I had no back windshield wiper, the interior was definitely dirtier than first saw, AND one of the tire pressure was low. Took the car to a mechanic and turns out there was a hole in the side wall. I had to go back to CarMax and didn’t have my car for nearly a week while they had to replace. Don’t get me wrong, I am super grateful they replaced two tires, but I never should have been in a car with a hole in the tire. Did they do all their checks?? I’m thinking no. Carelessness for sure.

Whoever moves the cars around the lot here needs to move the drivers seat to a more appropriate position for the average sized person to enter. In all of the cars I looked at, the seats were jacked all the way up and forward. Not a very inviting car shopping experience when one has to contort or bang their head to get inside a car, many of which have dead batteries and can’t have their seat moved at all.

Car Max Franklin, TennesseeWhat shysterr Use car lot when they sell a car To a middle-age lady without a spare tire they want to blame it on the Volvo manufacture the manager. You would think a business where you’re buying a used car They would warn you if the car manufacturer did not install spare tires anymore. That used to be called customer courtesy I’ve worn three people about buying cars at Carmax all three bought cars and had issues not with the cars with the people at Carmax and the manager who kept on telling me I didn’t know what I was talking about I ask you did you know the meaning of a particular word, did you look it up by chance? Maybe you’re using that word in the wrong context

I was preapproved for a certain vehicle. I went into the. CarMax and test drove the vehicle said I wanted the vehicle. Then we started the paperwork only to find out I COULD NOT get the said vehicle that I was already pre approved for. That is definitely false advertisement and misleading to the consumer. I am looking at getting a lawyer and getting something settled with this. How can a company with your caliber mislead and screw your customers into something that was already taken care of? This is very bad for a company like yours to do! I had no choice but to pick another vehicle that was too small for my family needs. I was in dire need of a vehicle that could handle 7 passengers plus stowage capabilities. I was preapproved for a Nissan Armada and had to settle with a Kia Sorento. No where close to what I need. My last vehicle was totaled by deer. So I definitely needed something fast. That is why I went through the preapproval method before I even started looking. Everything I was preapproved for with zero down all of a sudden needed at least $13,000 down. Very unfair sales quality coming from such a huge dealership!

We have worked with Henry a few times now to help us find our newest cars. This is our sixth CarMax car. Henry and Steve were great and we will continue to call Henry first for our future needs.

I randomly met Terrance when I walked in… and he stuck with me through many visits and multiple vehicle considerations. He was very patient and helpful. I will absolutely go back in the future and work with Terrance! I love my new car!

Being able to do so much online before going to the location made everything so smooth and easy. Once there the process was smooth and easy since most everything was done online. Super simple process and everyone I worked with was super nice and great to work with.

I've purchased three cars at this location and have always had a great experience. Most recently, Bryan helped my husband and me with a new car and he was fantastic. Highly recommend this Carmax.

Bryan was our salesman at the cool springs location. He did an amazing job. He was very patient, friendly and helpful while we tried to decide on which vehicle would fit our needs.
