I wish I could give them more than 5 stars. It is very hard these days to find a place that provided the customer service that I received here at Coleman Taylor. They got me squared away and the experience was TOP NOTCH. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. If you are having a transmission problem this is the place to go. I absolutely hate dealing with car issues, but this place made it a very pleasant experience. I wasn’t charged anything for the diagnosis or the fluid they put in that helped fix the problem. The lady that works the front desk is just as nice as can be. I would highly recommend this place if you are having issues with your transmission.

Great service. Great and friendly staff. Needed my F350 transmission looked at. It was tired and old and needed a rebuild. They diagnosed the problems. Yall i had a transmission problem and had to go through my extended warranty and let me tell you they handled it and got me takin care of within a week , i dropped off after hours and picked up all repaired after hours ... they did Amazing work and communicated the whole time ! The Chevrolet dealership (that I purchased my truck from), informed me it would be 3 weeks before I could bring my truck to them, then they would need to keep it for 3-5 days just to diagnose the transmission problem, then additional time to repair. Coleman Taylor diagnosed the problem the day after I had the conversation with the dealership, and were refreshingly honest and straightforward regarding the problem. I highly recommend Coleman Taylor of Franklin, TN for any transmission work. I have a Ford Explorer that had a small leak at the real axle seal per the free inspection they performed. When I brought it in for repair, it turns out there was another small leak at the transfer case. Since they missed the second leak in the inspection estimate, they honored the original quote which was a substantial difference. I didn't even have to ask -- they just did it automatically. The final bill was actually lower than the original estimate.This shop is the most customer focused auto repair place I have ever used. I understand why their lot is filled with customer vehicles and they have a backlog of work. I will definitely use them again for any transmission repairs on my vehicles.

Coleman Taylor Transmissions rebuilt my transmission in my 2004 Ram 2500, they seemed reasonably priced, but I did not shop around, I was referred to them by a friend, and with the three year warranty I wasn’t willing to risk taking the truck to a less reputable shop in hopes of saving a few bucks. Coleman Taylor had the truck for a total of two weeks, including diagnostic time, once they had found internal failure, they quoted me a price to rebuild, and said it would be about two weeks for the rebuild. The price was exactly what they had quoted, and it was done in less than two weeks from the time I gave them the go-ahead. I’ve only had the truck back about a day now, but it seems to working great!Service: Transmission

Wonderful people. Had my truck transmission rebuilt here a few years ago and was totally satisfied with the rebuild and the whole customer service experience. Had two other vehicles checked out since then for suspected transmission problems only to find out it was something else. There was no charge either time!! Who else does that today? Sorry to have to go here but they made things as pleasant of an experience as possible. They installed a rebuilt transmission into our 2006 f150 in garter than promised time. 3 yr warranty and she is running like a top!

No need to look any further.
