Sam helped me at the service desk and he was extremely nice and helpful! He opened the doors for me and was nothing but polite, True southern manners and hospitality! Stephen was the technician who worked on my van and was so informative and had my van in and out very quickly! Stephen has worked on my van a few times and is always great, I wouldn’t want anyone else to work on it. He always explains everything so I can understand and I never feel rushed! you can tell he truly enjoys his job. His knowledge and talent are an asset to Honda. Both gentlemen are assets to Darrell Waltrip.

Mike Parker was extremely patient and helpful to us. We had been to many different dealerships and Mike was by far the most friendly and professional. The dealership is top notch and dependable. This was my first experience purchasing a car in Tennessee and working with Darrell Waltrip Honda after visiting multiple dealerships. I am very happy to have done my business here and am looking forward to working with them in the future! Richard Lamberth was our sales associate and he was extremely patient, knowledgeable and worked well with myself and my family. Shoutout to his trainee as well as Ralph, Mike, and Tony. Every single person was very friendly and helpful. A very low pressure but efficient experience.

I had an excellent experience with Darryl Waltrip Subaru when we purchased our new Outback. Our salesman, Robert, was the best salesman I have ever encountered, bar none. His product knowledge was impressive and he really listened to us and what was important to us. He then guided us to our perfect match respectfully and we never felt pressured. Chris, the sales manager, was a total delight and I found him very knowledgeable and professional, but also fun and friendly. Everyone we came into contact with was polite, friendly, and professional. I will be back for all of the service visits, and I am looking forward to it. Five stars!!! Recommended highly.

This dealership uses old school bait and switch pricing deals to get you to come on down. Yes, even now, they do that. Once you are there those deals you saw don't exist, it is an arduous process, overpriced, with incompetent sleazy sales peeps including ours, Evan. After 2 hours we left, and bought a car elsewhere with a seamless efficient experience with better pricing and overall experience.

We recently had the best experience at Darrell Waltrip Honda. Thrilled with our purchase of a 2021 Honda CR-V EX. Tom Kim, Sales Associate, is the best salesman we have ever worked with and we purchased many cars over the years. Tom is knowledgeable and truly interested in finding the best car to meet our needs and the best deal. Helpful. Hard working. Not pushy. Friendly. Outstanding car buying experience and dealership! In the future, we won't go anywhere else to buy a car.

Had a great experience today all thanks to Robert Drake. He was conscious and respectful of our time, was efficient and aware of our needs, and even kept us out of the rain while staying focused on the cars. Even though we arrived to the dealership tired, we left after an enjoyable experience. I highly recommend Robert if you are looking for a Honda.

We recently bought a Honda Odyssey and Nikki helped us every step of the way. She answered all of our questions and made the experience enjoyable through her excellent customer service. In addition to Nikki, the entire team at Darrell Waltrip was fantastic. Everyone was friendly and helpful. We will definitely use them in the future.

Recently attempted to buy a car from this dealership and not only were they requiring I buy LowJack for $1500. They quoted me the wrong car and the wrong price twice. They took up about two hours of my time and then in the end couldn't even put the right price sheet in front of me. I finally left and bought a car from a different dealership where I had a seamless experience.I also own a Honda Odyssey and have had it serviced there and their prices are outrageous. They charged $675 for an alternator. The total cost to replace it was $1545.Do not recommend this dealership.

Daryl Waltrip Honda is a customer service oriented dealership. They’re terrific. My service manager, Jerry (fabulous & helpful & really nice), had Saturday off. Chris helped me and he was great. He provided excellent service! I was there for a tire repair. In and out in an hour was great considering I was a walk-in. Also a shout out to the very nice & competent young man who was part of the team signing in cars for service. Sorry I don’t know his name but hopefully this will identify him. He took my car, checked all the tires & discovered an embedded nail. And Joseph who works their - we had a fabulous conversation about books and music. DWH is a great place to buy a car. Their outstanding, superb service and professionalism gives me peace of mind..

Yikes, absolute nightmare of an experience with the sales team here, and I could not caution others against buying from this place more.I've done extensive research on buying a new/used car and came in knowing exactly what I wanted, but looking for the full pricing estimate so that I can compare from the different options I've been considering. I walked in and they handed me off to a young associate with some particularly rank body odor, who seemed uncertain if he should even be the person helping me with a sale. I shared exactly what I was looking for and asked him repeatedly to show me pricing estimates, to which he kept, frustratingly replying he didn't know how much even the base price was for different, very popular cars. I finally got him to put together a pricing estimate for the car I wanted, but was shocked to see $3,200 in required add-on's for stupid/minor things I didn't even want (cup holders, GPS, a cuddy for trunk organization.) I informed him that put the car out of a range I was willing to pay and gave him parameters for a used car. He searched online a bit then said he'd come back with estimates. Instead, he came back with his manager, Evan Pomin, who seemed itching to pick a fight with me from even our first introduction. Evan asked me aggressively, "how May I help you?" To which I replied honestly that I was a little confused why he was here; I was here to buy a car, the first estimate didn't work out so I was awaiting a summary of used car estimates. Then, the young associate stepped in and said he didn't find any used cars (why didn't he just tell me that initially?) Evan the manager went on a man-splain tangent of the $3,200 add-on, which is required & applied to all new and used cars sold at this dealer and was a standard in the industry, etc etc. I explained that respectfully, I just left another dealer with a comparable car that didn't have any of these required add-on's, so what he was saying was not actually true. To which he really rudely asserted "Then why didn't you buy it?"At this point, I told Evan he was being rude and I'd be leaving and he crossed his arms and gave a little smirk as if sending me, a paying customer away, was his intention all along.Call me old fashioned, but I always thought car salesman's job was actually trying to entice you to buy something? If you actually want to buy a car, don't go here; they will actively make you not want to do business with them.

Took my 2020 Ridgeline BE in for a recall on the brake booster, no problem was found. My service advisor Sam Daley did a great job explaining the recall and any upcoming service I need. I had Sam taking care of my vehicle since I have owned.

Before you read any further let me say I understand. Going to the car dealership can be a headache. You can never be certain if you’re going to get a good deal and the sales staff sometimes have a reputation of being less than trustworthy.Well, let me put your mind at ease. Darrell Waltrip Honda is the exception to the rule!I highly recommend this dealership if you are in the market for a new Honda! Nikki Barger was my salesperson and she was an exceptional Honda representative who went above and beyond the call of duty to provide a top tier customer experience for me!This dealership was able to offer me the best deal in seven states including my own home state. I chose to travel 350 miles to make this deal with Darrell Waltrip Honda than go to a dealership in my area.This dealership will definitely make certain that they take care of your needs if you are in the market for a new car!

Excellent dealership. We've used them for years for service and just bought a used Honda CRV there this week. They have their act together, the folks are incredibly helpful and informed. Robert Drake and Doug Lucas were both just terrific helping us buy our new-to-us car. And while we were doing that, our 2012 Accord was in the show getting tuned up to hand off to our daughter heading to college. Wyatt Green in service was awesome keeping us posted on what our car needed and making sure we were informed along the way. Great staff all around.

My husband and I were in the market for a new car and had a dissapointing experience at a different dealership before we decided to check out Waltrip Honda. My husband is very restricted to the vehicles he can drive as he is very tall, 6'5". He used to have a 2002 Accord which he was able to comftortably drive so we wanted to check out a Honda dealership to try sitting in a few to try them out. We were coming back from a road trip and had to drop off our rental car at Avis in Franklin and decided to call Waltrip Honda to see if we could get a ride to look at the cars they offered. Greg Schmidt answered our call and came to pick us up. He was so kind and it really stood out to us that he went above and beyond. Customer service goes a long way and he was top teir. We fell in love with a brand new Accord and were able to leave with a new car that afternoon. They took my husband out to lunch while financing was sorting out some details (I had to leave before this so I wasn't there for that part.) I don't know if this is standard, but to help us accomadate our up and coming move August 1st, they helped us get interim car insurance for our remaining time here in Tennessee. We got a great deal on the car and are very happy with our experience and purchase. Greg was great and I highly reccomend him if you decide to visit Waltrip Honda in Franklin.
