ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! Mechanic back talked my wife over an oil change, manager then yelled at her because I called to complain. Also tried to charge my wife $285 for a service issue they caused. TOTALLY UNNECESSARY AND UNACCEPTABLE.

While we did not purchase our Outback here, we come here for service. Our Service Advisor, Sean, is always very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this service department and especially Sean.

I recently had a highly frustrating experience with Darrell Waltrip Subaru, and I feel compelled to share my story to prevent others from falling victim to their unreliable service and dishonest pricing practices.Two months ago, I brought my car in for a routine oil change at Darrell Waltrip Subaru. To my surprise, the service agent informed me that my engine was leaking and quoted an exorbitant price of $1100 to fix it. Caught off guard by the unexpected expense, I reluctantly agreed to have the repair done, assuming it was necessary for the well-being of my vehicle.However, just a couple of months later, I began to notice the distinct smell of oil once again. Concerned, I returned to Darrell Waltrip Subaru and explained the situation. To my dismay, they now claimed that the oil was leaking from a different location and insisted that the repair would cost a staggering $3600 due to the labor-intensive nature of the job. I couldn't help but feel taken advantage of.Determined to seek a second opinion, I took my car to another trusted mechanic. They conducted a thorough inspection and informed me that the leak was indeed from the original job done at Darrell Waltrip Subaru, which they promptly fixed for a fraction of the price, a mere $300. I was astounded by the vast difference in both diagnosis and cost between the two establishments.The whole experience left me deeply disappointed and frustrated with Darrell Waltrip Subaru. It is evident that they either lacked the necessary expertise to accurately identify and repair the issue or deliberately misled me to extract more money from my wallet. In either case, their conduct was unprofessional and deceptive.I strongly caution fellow car owners against entrusting their vehicles to Darrell Waltrip Subaru. Their lack of integrity and apparent disregard for customer satisfaction is unacceptable. I encourage you to seek out a reputable and honest auto service provider who will prioritize your vehicle's well-being and your peace of mind.In conclusion, my encounter with Darrell Waltrip Subaru was marred by unreliable service and dishonest pricing, resulting in unnecessary expenses and unnecessary stress. Save yourself the trouble and seek out a more trustworthy and competent auto service center for your car's maintenance needs.Rating: (1 star out of 5)

I talked to John in the parts department to verify the part number I was ordering was correct. He way polite, professional, and very helpful. H confirmed the number was correct for my application. The part was then ordered online and delivered quickly.Good company do deal with.

I had an issue with my back hatch lock not functioning and fully expected a lengthy service call. However, my service advisors were able to do an override and it did not require any sort of repair or other intervention on their part. They ended 2022 in a wonderful way for me. I can't say enough about their helpfulness and their willingness to be customer service oriented! So happy to interact with this service department today!

Runs like a well oiled machine. Since it's just Subaru there now that Volvo relocated, there are more parts available on hand. Many parts can be ordered within two days if not in stock. Many accessories are also available for your Subaru.

The Service Department, and especially Brandon Tidwell, is the reason that I buy Honda. If Brandon says we need service, then we really need the service. Brandon once told us not to spend money on an unnecessary service. Who does that? Buy Honda and service your Honda at Waltrip. Jim Boyer

Rob in the service department is amazing! From the moment I called to talk with someone about the issue with my Subaru all the way to service day. I have a door leak where the water gets inside the door every time it rains or I wash the car. The dealer had my brand new 2022 Outback for three visits totaling 24 days in the shop. Then they tried to tell me that the water is supposed to get inside the door. It now leaks worse than ever. last week I called and made an appointment for an oil change and tire rotation. I asked if they could look and see why the engine appeared to be skipping and they made an appointment for 11:30 am the following week. when I took it in they told me that they might need to keep it overnight because they were very backed up. Over 5 hours to Change the oil and check for an engine miss? In my opinion the car is a lemon and the service dept. is pathetic.
