For years, I've been a loyal Dickens customer, purchasing and recommending their products. However, service at the Downs location has significantly deteriorated. Recurring delays, a lack of clear pick-up procedures, and limited space are now forcing me to explore alternatives. Scheduling pickups and maintaining my zero-turn mower was simple at the previously closed location. Dickens needs to address these inefficiencies and restore its former service standards

Great place with lots of parts in stock! They also have a great selection of commercial mowers weed eaters blowers you name it! The staff there are extremely helpful! I did not have a part number just a picture and they were able to find me what I needed with no problem! I highly recommend coming here for all your mower and other small engine needs!

I have been a loyal customer and advocate of Dickens for over a decade. Purchasing various items including mowers,lawn equipment, and smaller tools. Suggesting them to family,friends and clients. Unfortunately, I have noticed a decline in service quality at the Downs location in recent years. Despite my continued support, I have experienced recurring mishaps that have led me to consider exploring other options. I recently visited 96 Lawn and Garden, which is close by and has the space to accommodate my needs. They were surprised to hear about the delays I've encountered. Dickens lack of a strong pick-up policy and limited space at the downs location have contributed to inefficiencies. I hope to see improvements that align with the high standards this business once upheld.

The people at Dickens are very knowlegable and get your repairs done very quickly and when promised. They are very friendly and helpful if you need questions answered. I have taken my mower there for the last three years and have never been disappointed with their service. I will not take my mower anywhere else when repairs are needed. I will purchase my next mower from them even if they are a little higher than the big box stores because of their great service and attitude.

I have bought many pieces of equipment from here over the past 4 years. The staff is always very nice and honest.They always go the extra mile and gave me advice about the different kinds of equipment and how to service equipment properly. I’m currently 17 and this is my 5th year in business. I certainly would not be where I’m at today with out the help and knowledge of the staff that work there.
