They do not have bags for your purchases. It’s absolutely ridiculous that a retail store doesn’t have bags when they are getting all their merchandise for free.

I have found so many good things at this location! I’ve found two heavy silver candelabras made in India, these beautiful heavy artichoke bookends, a midcentury wooden chest, Italian leather shoes, Sperry boots, brown calf boots, black heels, German made wooden nutcrackers, decanter, cookbook, cookbook stand, glass candle holders from William Sonoma, and so much more.

We donate a lot to goodwill. I’m getting a little tired of the comments from the guys working the curb. Making comments about the vehicle I’m driving, comments about what I’m donating. It’s just not appropriate. Just take the donation. It’s not that hard.

This morning I was reminded of why I don’t shop here. Ridiculous prices!!! Even broken or chipped knick knacks are priced like they’re selling them new?? For small things! And worn/dirty dishes too…I can’t comprehend these prices. I barely bought a thing because when I would pick something cute up the price would make me put it right back down. And there was no one working the register so a couple and I had to stand and wait around for someone to show up. However, the person that did come to the register was very kind, so that was nice.

For the most part employees are helpful but one manager in particular, I believe a woman with long gray hair, very rude not only to customers but seemed like to her employees as well. She talk down to one I saw I think she was training and that was just unprofessional. Management team are suppose to be more professional than that. Now I only am giving this store a 2 star instead of one star because everyone else was very helpful including the other manager I think he was. I just didn't like the way she spoke to employees as far as I seen. I felt bad for the girl. Maybe she was having a bad day, but I think goodwill should have some type of class for management on being courteous when training new employees. This one in particular definitely needs a course in politeness. It's so easy to be polite, it's really not that hard.

Found some really nice things at this goodwill - mainly clothing. My only complaint is regarding one employee in particular. I never got her name but she was a pest, to say the least. Other than that, it was a good experience.

This would be a better review if Amy the cashier wasn't so incredibly rude. She comes across as having a sour attitude and is very abrupt when interacting with customers. Please and thank you and your welcome can go a long way in making customers feel appreciated. Being snippy and sarcastic just makes the shopping experience unpleasant. We probably won't be back.

In a word, RUDE!!!!! The............trans or whatever that is that works the area you unload in is ALWAYS in a cranky mood. Never likes what I have to donate. Always wants me to jump through hoops to drop off good merchandise. So, I've resorted to just throwing it away. Good job Goodwill. You win!!!! I won't donate anymore. I just take it to the dump instead.

I love our Goodwill. The one in Spring Hill always has the best stuff. An adventure for sure

What is the reason for the employees come out when you drop items off. They stand there and do not help. I will look for another place to donate.

Very poor experience at the Franklin Goodwill today. First started with no dressing rooms being open, so I was unable to try on clothes I was interested in buying. Then, I waited in line at the register, only to find out that the person in front of me was completing a return. Only for me to move over to another register, which by then another cashier had opened up another lane, and multiple people who weren’t even in line at the time I was, were already being checked out. No communication whatsoever. Cashier could have at least told me that she was processing a big return and that it would be better if I moved over to another line instead of wasting time in her line like I did. Most importantly though, is I bought a nice ceramic mug for my wife. The cashier I had wasn’t even going to put my cups in a bag. I had to ask him to bag them. And then, he didn’t even bag the ceramic mug. So, my wife will never get to enjoy the nice mug I bought her because due to there being no wrapped protection, the mug fell onto my floorboard while driving, and the handle shattered. The service at this location was subpar today, to say the very least. I’ve been a loyal Goodwill shopper for years, and the ONLY time I have ever been so mad after a Goodwill visit before was the time (at another location) when a customer put her hands on me and pushed me, and the location refused to kick her out of the store despite multiple other witnesses to it. So for this visit today to compare to something as severe as being physically assaulted speaks volumes to how bad the service is here!

The reason you don't see any "good deals" at this location despite it being in a more affluent area is that the higher quality donations rarely make it to the sales floor... they are segregated upon receipt and sent to the online store where a bigger profit can be made for the company. If you drive thru the donation tunnel beside the store on a busy Saturday and see what's being donated verses what's actually on the sales floor, you'll see what I mean. They throw better stuff away back at the warehouse than they usually have on the retail sales floor as well... why I don't know. Just "quality" management I guess. The employee pilfering is pretty rampant too. Lots of the good stuff goes home with the dock workers at the warehouse. Ever wonder why you rarely see any good flat screen TVs in the stores? It's not because they aren't getting donated... they just rarely make it to the sales floor. Goodwill is not a charity, they are a corporation posing as one.
