Went to the store with a birthday coupon for $5 off a cookie. I chose the doozy and paid the extra $1 and tax for the pricier cookie. The worker put it in a small wax paper bag and I went on walking through the mall. I did not have the bag pinched closed too tightly, I was holding it for the top opening. The bag seal came apart/open at the bottom (not from the top open part) and the cookie slipped out of the bottom onto the ground. I went back to ask for it to be replaced since it was the bag that ripped and not my doing. The worker charged me for a new cookie at full price then she proceeded to put it in a bigger paper bag and say to my face “oh this is the bag I usually put this type of cookie in” … knowing she made the mistake and still charged me for the replacement. Disappointed in the customer service and the worker. I sent a complaint the day this occurred to the website and never received a response. Bye Great American Cookie, don’t plan to come back.

Your cell phone is probably the most disgusting thing you own. After all, most people take their cell phones into the bathroom with them and sadly many people don’t wash their hands. Take a sample from most peoples cell phone and you’ll find urine, feces, and all kinds of other stuff on it.So, you can imagine my horror when the staff who all had the personalityof a rock, was sitting there playing on their cell phones while actively working ungloved with dough and frosting. ?How health departments allow these kinds of dangerous practices to go unnoticed without shutting down places like this is incredible. This is how things like listeria spreads people… Oh how we as a society have let standards erode…

The cookie cake was delicious. But the cake wasn’t ready when I got there and I had to wait an hour before getting to my destination. It would’ve been nice if they have contacted me because I was traveling.

Stay away from Great American Cookie Co.Couldn’t be unhappier with a store … My wife ordered Great American Cookie CO’s $50+ birthday cookie for our daughters 17th birthday.. There was a misspelling (our fault not GACC’s )…She asked politely if they could fix the one character on the cake and she would wait as long as necessary… The person behind the counter said they don’t fix cookies…. It’s ok because we will never buy anything from GACC again and can’t wait to tell anyone who asks not to buy one either !!!!Great decision by GACC for two cents worth of icing.UpdateReceived a very nice text from GACCThank you for doing thatRaising review to 4 stars for great customer feedback attention !!!!

Absolutely awful!!! The service is absolutely terrible, the lady checking us out had the manager come out and tell her(in front of us) “don’t let the customers stand there and look at cookies, they need to choose and get them going!” Then we get home and the cookies are all crumbled together and absolutely AWFUL! We used to love GAC, will not be back. What a waste of $13 for 6 cookies…

I have bought cookies here for many years. I went today and 2 workers were talking, the one decorating a cake didn’t see me but the other worker looked at me and kept on talking. She knew I was there. She never thanked me. She was so rude.

My family has been ordering cookie cakes from GAC for decades and although the decorating has definitely become top notch the flavor has become rather bland. Seems like the recipe has downgraded, quite a disappointment. I only post this in hopes that the cake recipe will return to the original.

Ordered a custom birthday cookie cake, with Mickey theme. I was called prior to pickup, with suggestions to add other characters, etc. Great customer service for this customer order and a perfect cake!!!
