BUYER BEWARE: If you order an item that says it is not in stock in store it likely is. Then you will wait 2+ weeks for the item even with multiple of the same items sitting on the shelf in the store. They will not fulfill the order from in stock items and they will not let you cancel your order. Shipping to store is stock transfer. There is nothing magical about that specific item. It is not personalized. This is bad business and it is a reflection of corporate having backwards policies that drive consumers away. Local employees are professional and kind. Company policies hinder their ability to take care of their customers and make their day to day job difficult. Shame on Hot Topic Corporate

I'm going to give Hot Topic 3 stars even though I really want to give it 2.5. Any stars given are a positive reflection on the staff. They are always wonderful. But yesterday I got so excited because I saw 100% cotton shirts- spiderman specifically- But it only went up to 2x. I know for a fact there are some thick boys / men that would appreciate the ability to walk in and get a shirt and walk out. Or their women / partners who would love to come home excited with a really cool shirt for them. Give us opportunities to let our people light up!! Dear corporate- its big boy season! Yes it is! Get it together! I know for a fact that there are thick guys that wear these things because by the time I find them in the thrift stores , they only make a good pajama top. Thin and worn and wonderful but not as a gift! Can there be something for everybody? This is the usa. 3x is pretty common. Mmm-kay?

Hot topic is pretty nice store and in Coolsprings Galleria so good. We live over 2 hours from the hot topic at cool springs in Franklin and come to this one specifically because of one of the salespeople, Greg. He is the most helpful salesperson I’ve ever dealt with in retail, especially Hot topic. He is always extremely helpful with my daughter with recommendations and helping her find exactly what she is looking for. He is kind, knowledgeable and is exceptional with his customer service. The retail industry needs to clone Greg.
