We enjoyed our shopping trip together. There was one particular male cashier that was absolutely incredible & took such great care of us, we were quite impressed with him! We had more shopping to do & went away feeling valued.↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓↓After we finished our other shopping there was an extremely, long wait in line & when it was our turn to be checked out the other male cashier that was due to take care of us was downright rude & started helping someone who wasn't even in line & the someone that he allowed to cut in front of us asked to cancel their transaction so they could go look at other things & afterwards that cashier told us to come on up, {at the same exact time the other cashier that was so wonderful to us was available & we quickly went to his register!!!}.The one cashier was absolutely marvelous & the other one was the extreme, exact opposite!!!We didn't let that one bad occurrence with the one rude & lacking cashier ruin our shopping trip.The great cashier that really knows how to treat his customers & who is doing such an awesome job made up for the awful behavior of the other one!!!

This was the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I work in retail and work with the public full time. The service was AWFUL and the man raised his voice at me because I did not understand the ridiculousness he was saying. JCPenney will never receive another penny from me.Two customers in front of me were treated the exact same.

They took away our store in Huntsville, AL. I really enjoyed shopping there and now when I am in Tennessee I will always make sure I go by one. Y'all still have the best quality towels and washcloths. And that is what I bought the other day when I visited the store at Cool Springs.

My Master Stylist Deborah Ivory was amazing. I knew I wanted color but wasn't sure what color or what I really want. I told her to do what she does and she did❣️I will definitely visit her again when I'm again in Tennessee.

Was surprised at inventory and great deals!! It's hard to find my kiddo any clothing his size. But they have a good big and tall section. The business casual wear is also full of options.

Not much of selection here. I've came in here several times because I have a card and never left with anything. The staff you practically have to run down if you need assistance. There's just really nothing to wear in here anymore unless you want to dress like a 50 year old golfer.

I have not been to a pennys in a long time. The store had lots of options. I found a party dress well priced at $45.00. Also some gold earrings for $35. They need a few more checkers, but all in all, I found it to be a pleasant store for low priced clothing and jewelry. (That’s all I was looking at )

Horrible customer service. I don’t normally write reviews but this was really annoying.I bought curtain rods. Good deal and on sale. Had to pay to ship to store plus a charge for product being oversized. Fine. May 13, received email that it was in and that I had till May 28 before they sent it back. I went on May 25 to pick them up, and they said, “We automatically send it back after 10 days”(would have been May 23)…DESPITE the email telling me I had until May 28. Asked a manager who said they could refund me. Despite being frustrated with no curtain rods in hand, I asked if they could order it again for me and they said, “Sure.” The guy said that he would put it on a gift card and then he could order it from that. Fine. Then he told me that I owe for shipping and oversized charge again—which I find out I didn’t get back in the first place!I tell him to forget about the whole thing and to put it all back on my credit card. Then “We can’t refund a gift card.” I wouldn’t have put it all on a gift card if I had know the entire amount wasn’t going to be put on there. So I am out $12; plus the remainder is on a gift card that I won’t use.I called the store and the complaint extension said “mailbox full.” I can see why. I called the main number and a nice guy in India refunded the shipping charges. I still have this gift card with the total that should be back on my credit card.I tried to find a store manager. I called 5 departments before anyone answered the phone. Thank goodness she told me the store manager’s extension and transferred me. Got voicemail. So tomorrow I will pursue getting in touch with her to get my money back on my credit card. Incidentally I asked the man in India if I could purchase something with the gift card and then return it for cash. He said that I would have to get a check in the mail. Wits. End.Also incidentally, here is an excerpt from the email sent to me:[Make sure to stop by the store before May 28, 2023 or your item(s) will be canceled.spacerIf your item(s) are not picked up, they will be canceled and we'll credit the transaction amount to your original method of payment. If you paid with gift card, you will receive a refund check in the mail.]So they should have already credited me when they cancelled it. And it says nothing about shipping. It says “transaction amount.”I realize this is a first world problem; however, I also believe that corporations shouldn’t get away with just taking your money.

I picked up a pair of jeans that were on the clearance rack for 70% off. The sign in the whole clearance section said an additional 70% off the lowest price. When I got to the register, the sales associate would not take the discount off the jeans Even though they were clearly marked as a Clarence item. Plus no fitting rooms were open. I will not go back.
