The store was clearly labeled on the doors and Google as closing at 6:00. I arrived at the store at 5:10 to get some fabric for an important project. I was accosted by a hateful employee who aggressively told me that they closed at 5:00. I explained that had not been posted on the doors or on Google. She attempted to blame the closing on flooding from a tornado the day before, yet there was no tornado at this location and they had been open all day. Apparently she just wanted to go home early. I understand the business is closing, but I do not see how they will ever liquidate their merchandise if they chase people out of the store.

Came on Monday to shop, gas leak happened and my items were placed on a 48hr hold as a courtesy for not being able to finish shopping, came in today (last day of my 48hr hold,) and was told very rudely by Judy that “we don’t have any room for that.” Caden, the associate who was at cut counter on Monday was super sweet, but frankly not having holds honored and having to shop for items a second time pmtfo. Glad GA Group is ruining this store tbh, wish they weren’t liquidating the whole company.

Store showed numerous items in-stock online of a variety of craft items. An associate, who was clearly not pleased being at work, informed me the items were in the back. She also stated she would not go get them for me to purchase. I stated I could place a pickup order online and showed her online where it showed I could add items for pickup. She then, with spiteful attitude, said she would just cancel my online order. I didn't get her name but she was a short, heavy set, brown long haired lady in a black shirt with a walkie talkie.

I’m not one to leave any sort of review for retailers, but I called to see if an item was in stock the night before and was told the item was in the back. Separately, I researched the item and sku number. When I was able to track down an associate, she looked the item up and told me there was ten in stock, but didn’t bother to find out where. She told me to ask the front desk, and no one was there to be found. A second associate walked off without even attempting to help. This was an $80 item, so would have thought they would like to make a sale. I will be going to the location in Murfreesboro to avoid the future runaround.

I have waited a year to write this review in hopes this store was just low on staff/it was post Black Friday, but no...this place is just a pure warzone with absolutely no management or care. Most shelves are empty. There were literally two rows of beads left yesterday when I went. What is left of the ribbon/trim section is all thrown on the shelves or straight onto the dirty floor. Fabrics aren't organized by type or even color so good luck finding anything quickly. I won't even get started on how it's mostly just nursery or wedding fabrics now. Goodbye fashion fabrics.
Floors aren't swept and don't look like they've been mopped in months. Lights are dim or flickering. Feels like a horror movie. Cutting table staff not the nicest (I stood there for a few minutes as they chatted to each other before acknowledging me, the only customer in the whole store). It's like this store WANTS to shut down so they're trying everything to keep people out.
I first moved to the area a year ago and went here in November 2023. Store was a mess then. I've come back 3 times hoping for improvements and it's just as bad. It's not a matter of short-staffed. It's a matter of management not caring. What a shame Murfreesboro has a FAR nicer store. This Joann is a black mark on Franklin. All Goodwills are cleaner than this store

Sewing and fabric department was so messy and a lot of products aren't on the shelves. Came here twice and was disappointed by the store cleanliness and customer service.

Good selection of products, but I was turned off by the mess. It wasn't an inventory mess either, which was unsettling. Looks like the floor has never been swept.

i put in two pick up orders today at 10:30 am, both with two items in them. all items were in stock when i placed the orders. i waited two hours for an email saying the orders were ready only to get an email saying that ALL FOUR items were now out of stock. still waiting on a refund

I went in for a large yarn haul as I had just gotten a couple of gift cards for my birthday. I understand this could be a lot, but the cashier Mike had a HORRIBLE attitude from the very beginning of the checkout process, and was even rude to the customer ahead of me in line. Don’t go here if you’re expecting a positive customer service experience, and definitely expect a bad attitude from the cashiers if you try to buy more than one item. Thankfully Carla came over to help the process go more smoothly but I still left without being able to use all my coupons and gift cards as it had already been such a bumpy experience that I felt bad trying to use all my discounts.

Sorry to say that I had to go twice the last week and both times the few 3 people working there must feel overworked because both times they were extremely rude and passive aggressive.

Looked very picked over. Lots of empty sections. The employee that was working in the material/sewing area was extremely helpful and polite.
