Chris is fantastic to work with! Every time I go to Platinum Jewelers, he is so helpful, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. He takes a lot of pride in his work, has beautiful items in the store, and is very reasonable with pricing. I recently went into Platinum Jewelers to search for a gift for my husband. He immediately helped me find exactly what I had in mind, and it was ready to be picked up the very next day!

I can’t recommend them enough. Every single thing about the service I get here is amazing. They custom designed a ring for me and stuck exactly to the budget I asked. I couldn’t be happier with how much care they put into every little detail they did AND the price they did it for. Chris is by far the most honest jeweler I’ve ever had the pleasure of doing business with. I drive over an hour from my home to buy from them and it’s worth it. They have significantly more selection than any jeweler around. No matter if your looking for a simple band or pair of earrings or that “can see from across the room” piece of beautiful jewelry he has it, and has it in stock.

Chris is rude. Doesn’t take responsibility for his business actions, or doggies action. I feel awful for this poor Akita that has such an unaware and uncaring hooman. Chris’s pup is always at the dog park with Chris sitting in his truck. There has been an incident at Harlinsdale pup park of his dog attacking other dogs. To the extent of staples and multiple punctures. And no remorse, or help with vet bills. Sadly, this is not a good place for jeweler (unless you wanna file police reports to get your stuff back) and definitely not a great pup owner. Step up Chris.

A friend of mine stated that the jeweler here will help me to make the best choices regarding jewelry purchases. After walking into the store and making my Christmas purchase, I can now honestly say that I have found my jeweler. You won't be upset with the service provided at Platinum Jewelers.

Check the reviews. It has a terrible review for a reason. The owner thinks he's some big tough cool guy. The store is the worst jewelry store I've ever been too. Shocked they're still open. Read the reviews people, will never be coming back. Absolutely trash representation of Franklin.

ABSOLUTELY HORRENDOUS EXPERIENCE!!!! STAY AWAYIf you look at the more recent reviews of this place, you will notice quite the disparity in opinion compared to a few years ago. Chris (the owner) and Platinum Jewelers are a complete and utter disgrace to the jewelery business. After being told an engagement ring would be ready on Thursday, it wasn't until 50 ignored calls and 48 hours later that I finally had the ring in my hand. BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE!!! The following Saturday, while doing house work, the diamond completely fell out of the setting. When Chris was made aware of this, instead of offering to fix it, he made every excuse imaginable instead of taking accountability and fixing the situation. On Saturday, after going into the store to confront him, he agrees to have someone fix it and to get me an appraisal SO I COULD HAVE IT INSURED FINALLY... After another 50 ignored calls, I finally receive the ring on Sunday without my promised appraisal.After taking the ring to another jeweler and having them inspect it, they informed me that the ring had been rushed and nearly damaged. If you step into Platinum Jewelers and you see a troll named Chris with dog toys laying in the floor, blankets, and other junk in what is supposed to be a place of business, take my advice and turn the other way. PLEASE DO NOT GIVE THIS GUY YOUR MONEY!

DO NOT....DO NOT GIVE THIS PLACE YOUR BUSINESS. ZERO STARS. READ OTHER RECENT REVIEWS. Chris, the owner is 100% sketchy and unprofessional. The worst customer service I have ever dealt with...My fiancé bought my engagement ring from Chris—which after the proposal I learned was a whole fiasco in itself. He did not have the ring ready when promised and communication was terrible! Then, the best part! Prong on the ring, broke at the base after 5 days of normal wear! And the diamond was lost. Searched for hours and luckily found the diamond only to deal with a very unapologetic Chris who basically insinuated I did something to break the ring and that that had never happened in “20 years” and there was basically nothing he would or could do. —also note, he had completely avoided my fiancé and his repeated request for an appraisal so we could get insurance on the diamond!!—After luckily finding the stone, we drove to the store after being promised it could be fixed that same day. Later, just to be told he would have it to us the next morning...Of course, never heard from him (a common theme in recent reviews)..after being ignored ALL DAY the following day my fiancé demanded to meet him to get the ring back fixed or not. Because at this point. He had the ring and our money and was refusing communication. Totally awful and sketchy feeling. Finally, after threatening a police report (another common theme in recent reviews) he suddenly had the ring and could meet for pick up. MY RING WAS CROOKED IN THE SETTING, BAND WAS BENT, AND PRONGS UNEVEN!!Also—still no appraisal which was again was promised at time of fixed pick up.Called several gemologist and jewelers in the area the next day. ALL which knew of his “fishy business” (their words). And reported his business was good in years past but most recently NOT THE CASE.Took the ring to a reputable jeweler. Good news! At least the diamond was real! However, jeweler was very unhappy with the way the diamond was set and “fixed” and setting has to be completely reworked. Currently waiting on ring to be fixed and appraised elsewhere...still no appraisal or another word from Chris which was now promised at time of fixed pick up.DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE. I will be reporting to the better business bureau. Do not be enticed by his cash deals. I don’t want any newly engaged couple or anyone for that matter to go through the stress I just went through over the past 72 hours. People that run business like this and take advantage of people’s hard earned money and savings are not worthy of being business owners in any industry—especially one that should be a happy one!Be warned, and shop elsewhere!
