I dropped a letter in their collection box outside of this location on March 8th. To my discredit, I wrote the zip code incorrectly on the front. However, the letter was stamped by the post office on April 2nd (3.5 weeks later), and I finally received the letter back in my mailbox today, April 23rd (6.5 weeks later) with the zip code crossed out and written correctly, by I’m assuming, someone with the post office. While I understand funding was cut to the USPS, my goodness, this is another level of mismanagement. Just be aware if you want something to arrive on time, you’ll need to mail it 2 months in advance.

Sure they’re nice. But when there were 18 people in line- 18- there was one worker and the other one disappeared in the back. Not ok. Do better. Our taxes pay for this.

Drivers must be lazy and don't want to get wet so they decide to leave a package in the rain on the ground at the street in the pouring rain and they wonder why people are using other services besides usps.

Did not see an option for 0 stars so I am leaving as low a possible 1 star… Joel(Franklin, TN USPS) at the counter told me and my father that he “did not care about me nor what I have to say”. More was said that I in good conscience cannot even leave here from Mr. Joel… when I asked if he could get the supervisor(who was literally right behind the wall & helpful when I told her of the issue) to ensure that my change of address(4th attempt now to get done after filling it out online and in store) so that we wouldn’t have to keep making trips up there. Obviously one would expect a company such as this to treat someone wanting the bare minimum with a touch of human compassion and after so many issues with the same office. Clearly Joel does not know how to handle ANY amount of stress from what we witnessed and is severely lacking the basic knowledge of how to handle that kind of situation but I digress. Feel bad for the supervisor seeing as to what she has to work with but then again she is the one who did the hiring one would have to imagine. Let’s hope they get decent people in there or there will certainly be MANY a “0 star review”. Heather the other lady at the counter was almost equally as rude & unhelpful so clearly this branch has many issues judging by the other reviews and the fact that I’ve made 4 trips now to get a change of address done correctly. We will be sure to avoid this place at all costs(surely the 4th time will be the charm to get this new address updated correctly ???). HIGHLY advise anyone to use another USPS or alternative mailing option!

I would give zero stars if I could. I had everything together for changing my name after marriage on my passport. The agent tells me that because I’m changing my middle name (which is super common after marriage so I don’t get that) and not just my last name that I had the wrong form and basically said she wasn’t gonna do anything. So we left and I went to go print out a new form and called a different place and turns out it was the right form all along. So I wasted a ton of time because the blonde lady with fake eyelashes decided she didn’t feel like doing her job.

My wife and I just moved to Franklin. A couple weekends ago, we went to the post office to see if our address change had been processed. It had been a couple weeks since we filled out our address change, but we still weren't receiving mail. This was during the snowstorm that Tennessee was hit with, and their post office was beyond busy on this particular Saturday. After waiting patiently in line, we went to the counter and dealt with the guy working. He was ok. He seemed a little annoyed given the amount of people in line, and the constant questioning of whether people could pick up their mail. Understandable, I guess. He tried to help us, but the lady next to him, Kelly, told him that she would be able to help us.After we waited for the person Kelly was helping to finish up, we went to Kelly's counter. And let me just say that Kelly is the textbook definition of GREAT customer service! Despite being insanely busy, Kelly had a smile on her face the whole time and made it known that she was ready and happy to help us. She took our information and went to the back to look up the status of our address change. When she came back to the front, she had the exact date that it was started, and the status update of when it would be completed. When I told Kelly that it was odd that we hadn't received mail yet because it had already been 2 weeks, and the post office back home had told us it would take 3-5 days, Kelly was quick to inform me that 3-5 days was the old system, and it now takes 2-3 weeks to complete. Mix that with the weather that was going on, and things would possibly be delayed a little longer.I am happy to report that Kelly was absolutely right, and we are finally starting to receive our mail.I am so thankful to have had the pleasure of dealing with Kelly. She is very friendly, outgoing, knowledgeable, and just ready and willing to help as much as she can. Great Job Kelly!

I’d give 0 stars if I could for the mail delivery in Franklin TN. We had bad weather the early part of last week. By the middle of the week everything had melted and the roads were clear. I have 5 packages showing as “delivery exceptions” that arrived in Franklin with no update status even though it says they arrived in Franklin. No one knows where they are. This is just the latest horror story in a long list going back 10 years with me now.

I visited the Franklin Post Office today to replace a lost passport and unfortunately, my experience was less than satisfactory. While the line moved efficiently and one brown-haired lady provided excellent service to another customer, I encountered an unpleasant interaction with a woman with silver-grey hair.Despite having all the necessary documentation, including a filled out printed form, a Walgreens photo copy, a check, and various forms of ID, the clerk made the process needlessly difficult. I even had a manila envelope ready to go. When I approached, she commented, "It doesn't even look like you are ready!" despite having everything in my hand. After explaining, she abruptly directed me to a different post office with an appointment five weeks away, with a curt warning about “how fast appointments go”.While I understand the importance of appointments, this requirement was new to me, and the delivery of this information could have been handled more kindly. It seemed a simple matter of filling out my driver's license information, attaching my photo, and confirming my identity. The overall experience left me feeling upset, and I'm uncertain about returning to this post office in the future.I appreciate the assistance of the brown-haired lady provided to other customers , but the encounter with the clerk was disheartening. I hope this feedback helps improve customer experiences at the Franklin Post Office.

If you want fast service, don't come here. Don't even bother calling them, they don't answer. It also takes 3 weeks to get a mail key, but when I paid for them it was only going to take a week. Nobody has a clue apparently

Obviously the employees still on Christmas break through 12/28. Have had no mail delivered and did not pick up a bill I had in my box, even though the flag was up. 2nd time this has happened.

I visited tonight to ship something and a lady with long, grey/blond hair was extremely rude and unprofessional to a man that came in behind me at the self-service kiosk. She then proceeded to complain to me about people not cleaning up after themselves and called people “filthy”. I didn’t say anything.I continued at the kiosk and she then told me I was doing it wrong and I “must not be very bright” and “most people use a box when shipping things.” I told her I’m simply following the steps it’s giving me because I’ve never used it before then asked if she wanted to help?” She said no and walked away through a door. I’m absolutely astonished that our city post office employees such a miserable, rude person and am floored. I’ve never witnessed or experienced this treatment by a post office employee let alone any employee, before. Wow. I hope she finds a job she doesn’t hate being at so much!
