“I go here quite a bit for very specific things and to take advantage of their coupons/promotions.
I feel like a lot of negative reviews forget this is a Dollar General. Every single one of them is understaffed, messy, and typically have stock blocking isles because the one person working has to go from restocking to checking out at a moments notice.
Due to the proximity to a large number of STRs and campgrounds they can oftentimes get inundated with customers and the lines can be long sometimes or stock can be low.
While DG itself could be described as a terrible company that drives out mom and pop shops in rural areas and is focused on profits at all costs - including their employees well being… I appreciate this store and the people that work there.”
“Prices were great. We found a wide assortment of solar yard decor. The people on the floor were very helpful. I would give it 5 stars but the cashier seemed like she didn't want to be there and it showed.”
“I love that I could find the same items I buy in Missouri here in Tennessee! Staff were helpful and friendly. I appreciate that it was a clean store and I didn't have to wait in a long checkout line.”
“Standard Dollar store. Lots of stuff, sometimes of questionable quality.
The store is always understaffed like most of them are, so expect to have to ring a bell or yell for service at checkout. It isn't the employee's fault, there are only ever 1 or 2 employees in the store and they are expected to stock and check people out.
The big plus of this store is that it is at least 10 minutes closer than any other similar store.
It is also an easy parking lot it get in and out of, and very convenient to the residential areas.
I do wish they had kept the self checkout open, but I understand that people were just stealing too much and the store can't afford the loss. It is what it is.
Overall, good store that I would recommend.”
“This store literally has been a pleasure since Josh came back! I swear he is one of the best managers family dollar has to offer! He has such an amazing personality. And his vibe is 100! “This is a good store chain, depending on which store you visit, they may have all shelves stocked, or a bunch of crate buggies in the isles. Competitive prices compared to Walmart, competitive goods, and depending on which store you can find clothing, and groceries. They have the lowest price on Castrol automotive oil, and Carey Pennzoil, and Marvel. Competitive prices on pet food, health and beauty products and accessories. They have great prices on toilet paper and paper towels.”
“We came here back in October so I apologize for the very late review, but the store manager at the time was very stressed. She was kind and talked with us for a while and yes the store was messy but she was the only one who had worked in two days plus several trucks dropped off their items and left. If she’s still there I applaud her and hope she gets the raise she deserves!”
“Had to get a few things so we stopped at this dollar general and it was busy and we found every item + a few more and went to check out. The line was several sets of people long but the cashier {Cassie} was very fast and extremely efficient and just as calm and kind as she could be!! She handled like a pro with a smile too! This girl should be the example for every store! Thank you Cassie for being a superstar!⭐️⭐️⭐️?”
