“I go here quite a bit for very specific things and to take advantage of their coupons/promotions.
I feel like a lot of negative reviews forget this is a Dollar General. Every single one of them is understaffed, messy, and typically have stock blocking isles because the one person working has to go from restocking to checking out at a moments notice.
Due to the proximity to a large number of STRs and campgrounds they can oftentimes get inundated with customers and the lines can be long sometimes or stock can be low.
While DG itself could be described as a terrible company that drives out mom and pop shops in rural areas and is focused on profits at all costs - including their employees well being… I appreciate this store and the people that work there.”
“Prices were great. We found a wide assortment of solar yard decor. The people on the floor were very helpful. I would give it 5 stars but the cashier seemed like she didn't want to be there and it showed.”

“The roast beef was awesome, but the rest (dessert) was mediocre. City BBQ has much better pack cobbler... why is that? I definately recommend the roast beef with mashed. I've never had better. But stop there. Service was ok, nothing exceptional.”
“This is a good store chain, depending on which store you visit, they may have all shelves stocked, or a bunch of crate buggies in the isles. Competitive prices compared to Walmart, competitive goods, and depending on which store you can find clothing, and groceries. They have the lowest price on Castrol automotive oil, and Carey Pennzoil, and Marvel. Competitive prices on pet food, health and beauty products and accessories. They have great prices on toilet paper and paper towels.”
“Had to get a few things so we stopped at this dollar general and it was busy and we found every item + a few more and went to check out. The line was several sets of people long but the cashier {Cassie} was very fast and extremely efficient and just as calm and kind as she could be!! She handled like a pro with a smile too! This girl should be the example for every store! Thank you Cassie for being a superstar!⭐️⭐️⭐️?”
