“This is an intriguing little bookend of a place at the end of the road for Daisy Town aka Elkmont Historic District. You can't go into the Appalachian Club unless you're attending an event there, but you can go up on the veranda and "set a spell" in one of the many rocking chairs lined up along the railing. And you can read about the intriguing history of this fabulous place and its swinging heyday.”

Room was clean, and smell free. Thay have lots of parking spaces at night.
The place it's cheap, and you don't need to drive to enjoy everything in downtown.

“The room we stayed in was nice. It was clean and overlooked the river. The spiral staircase was nice as well. The parking wasn't great but we could always find a spot. It was plenty of room for 2-4 people.”
