“Gotta give Dollar General @ 8430 Georgetown Rd. In Georgetown, Tn praise. Never have I been in a very clean, well organized Dollar General as the one I went in today. Everything well stocked and didn't have any issues finding anything, that I needed today. From Aaron, the D.M. to Jason, the store manager, all the way down to the associates, Thank you! Wish other D.M. and store managers and staff would follow suit! My new goto Dollar General for all my needs!!!!”

“I was surprised at everything they stocked here. Well except for Double Stuf Oreos. Couldn't find those but just about everything else you'd want is here. Easy to get to; right off of Dalton Pike, near 317.
UPDATE: They DO stock Double Stuf Oreos. I was just TOO LAZY to really give the shelves a proper going over.”

“I frequent this Dollar General because it’s close to my child’s school. We’ll make some stops in for snacks or craft supplies. I just want to say that this location genuinely has some of the best employees. They are always so pleasant and kind when we come in and they are so patient with customers and guests. My daughter lost her chore allowance in the store and the lovely girl who rang us up could tell that she was upset. My daughter was too embarrassed to look around for her lost bill, but after we left, the young girl searched the store and called us to let us know it was found. Every employee is always so thoughtful and pleasant.”
“I love the location being so close to home. The workers there are always super friendly to me. Prices are great, but sometimes they don't always have what I'm looking for. Highly recommend this location if not for anything else, the people really are amazing!”

“The absolute cleanest and most stocked DG's not just in Cleveland but in the entire state of Tennessee! They also have an excellent team of employees that are always so helpful & knowledgeable of questions I may ask?! Especially the Asistance Manager, Aaron! He definitely works well with time management, friendly and smart, with excellent customer service and leadership skills! The only thing I see room for improvement, is to get rid of those dead beat young ladies that call in all the time ,including but not limited to NEW YEARS DAY,Black Friday ,4th of July , well u get my point. David is also a hard worker, as well as Amber ( the manager) if you are ever in the area. I highly recommend it!”
“We are both age 77, and upon entering the store had GREAT difficulty getting the ancient grocery buggies unstuck so we could use them. The clerk, I think he said his name is Michael, immediately rushed over to help us. He explained that the store was due for an upgrade / renovation soon. He has excellent people skills, including customer service, active listening, and problem resolution.”

“I have been going to the Dollar General in Athens for about 2 months now. Every time I go in there the young guy follows me around the store. I guess he thinks I am stealing. Or he wants a date !!!! I have kids older than he is. I am probably good 40 years older than him. But I wonder what this boy would do if he actually did see someone stealing? He can’t put his hands on a customer, and he only weighs 150 lbs . I don’t think Athens City is going to come tires smoking or guns blazing over dollar store merchandise. I wonder if he has thought bout that? A store wrongly accuses a customer of Theft, that’s one heck of a liability. And it’s so annoying getting followed, every time I turn the corner, he’s there. Not very good at being a loss prevention dude. Those cats at Walmart could teach him a few things. They r the pros”
“Went in today for a drink. I grabbed one, that the lid was messed up on it. I went back in, and Justin fixed my problem asap. The store was the neatest DG, I had ever been in. Management here should be commended. Very impressed.”

“It's definitely just your standard/normal Dollar General....I have to say that I've experienced some ruder than just the normal "I'm having a bad day" type of employees quite often. The worst one being an actual manager ?? I haven't actually been treated so badly by a manager in my life at any store for that matter...or anyone at an actual DG either. Not sure if that particular manager still holds employment there or not. The incident referenced that I experienced was around December sometime of last year ? but I thought it was important and something worth mentioning tho...”
