I worked there for about a year. It wasn't until after 8 months I realized they weren't paying for the merchandise to be made. They were just collecting money from new customers to pay for previous customer orders. Great merchandise if it's in stock. I would beware of anything that has to be ordered. I placed orders for customers in June 2022 that were not paid for to be made by Sensational Sofas until January 2023. Orders placed in September 2022 not paid for until March. 2023 It was just amazing to watch the owner lie to the customer without blinking an eye. When I left in June 2023 I still had a customer that ordered a custom sectional in January that still had not been paid for to be made.

Still haven’t gotten my sofa. We were supposed to get the sofa in February that would have been 5 months from the time we ordered it. Now they said June. Fun times. I bet they will call back and postpone again. Who wants to take bets?

We ordered the sofa the end of January 2022. We were told it would take 32 weeks to complete and ship. I called the store every month after that for an update. Sometimes I was told they would check and get back to me but they never would. I sent emails also. I did get one response by email that said the sofa would be here in October, but of course it was not. I was then told November, but it was not. I was finally told around end of November first of December that manufacturer had not started my sofa but it would take two weeks. End of story is my sofa arrived at my house a few days before Christmas.Needless to say, good product but I will not purchase from them again nor will I recommend.

1. Custom sofa ($8119.31) ordered January 4, 2021 with a promised delivery date of April 1, 2021. I asked to change the ottoman two weeks into the order, but was told I could not change it because it was already in production. April 1 came and went. I continued to contact the store to find out when I would receive my sofa for the next eight months. They were very difficult to reach and unapologetic when I finally did reach them. This went on over and over until I finally received the sofa on December 12, 2021.2. August of 2022, my USB port stopped working. I contacted them for a warranty repair and they asked me to e-mail a photo of the port. A couple of weeks after I e-mailed them, they replied that the repair would not be covered by warranty because the port appeared to have been abused. Really? The port looks just like it did when the sofa was delivered. Apparently, it's an internal problem because it just doesn't work anymore. Now they want $50 to repair it.The selection, style and quality of their furniture is great, but their customer service does not exist. They have little regard for what happens once they make the sale. It is shameful that they absolutely do not stand behind their warranty.

IF I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS I WOULD! Horrible customer service. Going on a year waiting for our couch and the only time we ever hear from them is when we reach out for an update. Their sorry excuse for an update is 2 sentences long with the push back date of a month. The manager assured us that we would be getting 2 week updates as of a couple of months ago, but of course that does not happen. If you call, they don’t answer or call back. It’s understandable that they have no control over the factory that makes the furniture, but they truly do not know the meaning of customer service. All they care about is making a sale. If anyone needs furniture, do yourself a favor and never step foot into Sensational Sofas!

If you have about a year to wait on your furniture then this is the place for you. Also, do NOT expect ANY type of contingency or apology. I mean why take responsibility for your product not arriving on time? I understand that there has been Covid and work shortages but Pottery Barn still gave my sister $500 off for being just 3 weeks late . There are numerous amounts of more pressing problems in life, I know, but if you are going to be in the business of customer service maybe this place should learn how to have some.

Ordered a sofa the last week of January 2021 and today is November 26, 2021 and I have yet to receive my sofa! Will never buy or order anything from them again. Excuses excuses! Very poor customer service!

I went to look at furniture today one sales agent greeted me with I have 5 min I guess the store was getting ready to close a white person came in after me and they greeting to them was hey do you need help with anything no one ask me did I need help or could assist me with anything when I left out the store no one said have a good day but another white person was leaving out and they told them to have a great day

I purchased a houndstooth sectional from this establishment back in February of this year. To my surprise, I encountered bugs were in the sofa. When I reached out to the store manager to inform her what I discovered; she tried to clean it up and said "it must have come from the delivery truck."That explains to me why it was a clearance item and non refundable. How deceitful and disgusting is that to sell a customer an infested sofa with bugs in it!I also realized on one side of the sofa, feels like cardboard is in it.$2,000.00 is not easy to come by for me. It was not worth $2,000.I would give them a zero rating if I could.

Amy was very helpful! She listened, set a professional appointment to come and take measurements of my home and help me with a design plan and furniture that fits my style and my home. She did come as planned after she had worked a long day, spent time completing the task not only of my main living room but of entire house so that we could attempt to move pieces, refurbish pieces, gave advice, explained process, when to expect results and then come back to decide what my options would be to buy sofa, chairs, accessories, and finally get my beautiful home to shine the way I know it can!!
