“The staff at this location are friendly and polite. Trish and Ben are especially helpful and great to work with on a daily basis dropping package off. USPS itself isn't perfect, but its exceedingly rare for there to be an issue at this location that is actually their fault, and on that rare occasion, they do everything in their power to get the issue fixed. A few months ago, a package being returned to me was miss-sorted and delivered to the Postal Annex in Mount Juliet rather than the UPS Store. Ben was able to reach out to the carrier, confirm the packages location and the carrier was able to retrieve it and re-deliver.
Most of the complaints listed on Google and other review sites are complaints folks have with service and issues that are outside the control of this immediate location. Issues with delivery outside the Mount Juliet area, trouble with the 1-800 number, etc. Take all those false reviews with a huge grain of salt. The folks at this location are outstanding, even when faced with the toughest of customers, and I've witnessed more than a few folks being irrational and overly difficult over the simplest of issues. Kudos to the employees at this location for doing a great job in a difficult environment, and doing it with a smile!”

“Cynthia helped me out and was very kind and professional despite being the only employee with a busy, full store! She helped me with all of my questions and was so patient. Thank you!”

“I accidentally came here to drop off some packages for my grandmother in Pennsylvania for her 89th birthday. I bought her some cardigans because she gets so cold. It is colder in Pennsylvania than it is in Tennessee, so it was important that she receive the packages (they were a surprise, she didn’t know I was sending her any because it was a birthday present; she likely understood she would be getting a present but she didn’t realize it was some new cardigans). When I arrived, I discovered that this is not a post office location open to the public. It’s a non-public building (“private”).
However, the young man that works (Mark, bearded) there was very kind and pointed me in the right direction. He also gave me some information on the various types of delivery that USPS offers to make sure my package arrived in time.”

“I've been a resident of Smyrna for 17 years. In that time the Smyrna post office has never misplaced a piece of mail of mine. when I need to go into the post office my experience has been very positive, they are always professional and cordial. Considering all the cut-backs they are facing It's my opinion that they are doing a fantastic job. Keep up the great work!”
“The best post office with the friendliest workers! Teri Jo is always so helpful and if she isn't there whoever is there is just as helpful and kind. Save yourself the trouble of going to the mount juliet post office (where you're likely to be met with rudeness by the older gentleman that works there) and come to Gladeville, where people actually know what customer service means!”
