Everyone here has gone out of their way to be kind and encouraging to me and my dogs, educate me on being a better breeder and dog owner, and made my dreams as a young breeder possible when I felt like giving up. Truly, world class people, and well worth the drive! I look forward to coming, because it feels like visiting (very smart!) friends.

Surgery went great. The only issue I had was all the pain Luna has been in since the surgery with nothing to relieve her. It's not constant pain but, enough she needed something to help ease her during those times. I asked when I picked her up about pain she may have and was told "she wouldn't need anything." Which has not been the case at all. Her second day after her surgery she had alot of noticeable pain. I would recommend this vet however, I would advise not leaving after a spade with your animal without something for their pain. They have feelings too.

Dr. Adams and her staff are known around the world for their knowledge pertaining to reproductive services. The time, and energy they're willing to sacrifice everyday, with countless calls and working with other repro's to insure best case scenario's for their clients is unmatched. They have saved my litter and I will forever be grateful.

I’m stunned at what I found out today. I will never set foot in this place again. Please do your research by Googling the veterinarian’s name….. Julia Lane Adams. I take no pleasure in posting this review. The staff are very nice people. I won’t be surprised if this review disappears, but I hope it reaches many clients first.

Please do not bring your pet here! I brought in our sick kitten with a large distended stomach, lethargic and not eating. They told us she was fine and sent her home. We took her to Flatts in Cookeville and she was completely full of round worms, coccidia and constipated. If that wasn’t enough they take your pet in without you and treat them without asking first. There was a man with a puppy there that was furious, they vaccinated him without asking. The lady tried to justify it because it wasn’t in the chart so they went ahead and did it. Turns out he had vaccinated him at home the week before. I had this happen 6 months ago with a different cat. They gave him fluids and a vitamin B injection without asking and then charged me $60 for it. I wouldn’t have come back but was desperate to get her seen and told them not to do anything without my consent. So they didn’t do anything and she was clearly sick.

I called to make an appointment, the lady said they had a cancellation for Saturday, today, @11am.We got there and checked in @11, sat around for over an hour. When my husband called and asked how much longer, the lady said “I wish I could tell you” and then hung up on him. I waited a little while longer and wakes up to the window, and waited. The lady said that she couldn’t tell me how much longer and kind of dismissed me. I told her to just cancel the appointment since my dog had been waiting in my car for over an hour.I understand when businesses get really busy, but we had a scheduled appointment and the way that they handled it was very unprofessional. We will be looking for a different vet.

I personally prefer attending my dog during visits to the vet and wish this was an option. I do understand for surgeries (and in my case PennHip X-rays) drop off is necessary and the sweet staff made the process easier. Unfortunately, my dog didn’t receive the complimentary “more aggressive nail trim under sedation” that I requested and info on the microchip she got was lacking (all I got was the stickers with the number, no info on registering the chip in my name). I do appreciate this clinic’s affordability and have utilized you for PennHip and spays a number of times. A couple of small “cons” don’t outweigh the “pros” of your clinic helping owners care appropriately for their animals. It seems you are popular and busy and that may be the reason for small details falling through the cracks.

Tuesday July 18th was not a great day for me and my family. Our beloved cat had came down with something. His eyes looked awful. He was unable to eat. He was barely mobile and our Charles can run and jump with the best of them. He was only 2 years old and we were told he had a parasite of some sort and that he had probably had it for weeks. We were told only 10% of Cats make it with treatment and they all suffer along the way. So we choose what we thought was right in putting down. They allowed us in the back and he sat in my oldest sons lap as we all cried and said our goodbyes. The lady working the front came in to remind me it was an extra $90 to put him down. I of course said that was fine. We continue to spend our last bit of time with him and they came in and checked his heartbeat. It was getting slower they said. So we sat and continued to love on what had become all of our best friend and they come in again asking me to come to front when I was done to pay my balance. They checked his heart rate again and said it wasn’t gone but had slowed more and that he wasn’t even there anymore so we could go and pay the girl up front. In our grief we couldn’t see what was happening, but while our best friend died they pushed us out the door and just wanted the check and I let my best friend take his last breath there. Don’t make my mistake.

I had a 1:30 appointment, the first appointment for after lunch. I arrived just before 1:30. I went to the window to check in and the girl at the window just looked at me and then looked away. I waited for a little bit with no acknowledgment of me being there so I called to check in. I was told someone would be out in a few minutes. Just after 2:00 someone came out to see us. They were very unprepared and had to go back inside to check our records. At 2:15 I decided I would wait 5 more minutes before I left. At 2:20 I got in my vehicle and started to leave when I was approached by someone from the clinic. It was the vet. She told me they had two emergencies come in, that’s why they were running late. I don’t have a problem with that, things happen, but they had a receptionist at the front that could have communicated that with me and let me decide whether or not I wanted to wait or not. After talking to her for a few minutes I decided to let her look at my pup. It appeared she was going to conduct her exam and shots outside by my vehicle. Then someone from inside called to her saying she was needed inside and she left. I got back in my vehicle and left. What a waste of time! Won’t be going back!5/22 Just a follow up to my 2/27 appointment… I received a bill by email for a wellness exam and a heart worm antigen test for this visit. The doctor never did a wellness checkup or heart worm test. I’m not sure what kind of operation they are running there but it is not good!
