“Always good deals for brand name products. Only issue I have with this store is that it’s so tiny. There isn’t a lot of room to even go down an isle must less turn around. They need a bigger store for sure. Every other dollar general has either gotten a facelift or a completely new store, but this one hasn’t. Friendly employees for the most part and clean.”
“Was in the area for vacation and visited this store. Shelves were stocked, aisles were clear and staff were super helpful. By far the BEST Dollar Tree I have ever been in.”
“Ah the dollar and a quarter to 5 bucks store, I frequent this one for the friendly service and impulse purchases. The only thing that ever spoils a trip is horrible other people. I've witnessed people using coupons or complaining in a long line. It's the dollar tree grow up and be thankful they don't have a long stick to bust over your empty head. Also very clean store.”
“Clean and debris free parking lot and sidewalk. Inside the store is clean and fairly organized, they are in the process of restocking, unfortunately most of the isles are blocked with boxes and carts of boxes. One of the young men there that was stocking wasn't very friendly at all. Usually the staff apologizes for the mess, the boxes , blocking the isles and being in your way and says excuse me when passing by you but not this young man. I found that to be somewhat rude. As in most Dollar Tree stores, all items are not priced, I hate not knowing what something actually cost, round red stickers don't tell anyone how much it costs.”
“I love going to the Dollar tree it used to be a Dollar tree now they raised their price to $1.50 why raise your prices people having hard enough as it is nowadays”

“I prefer this DG over any other located on Fort Henry Drive! And there's a lot of them believe me you! The folks at this location are just great employees and great people! They're always kind and they keep shelves stocked better than almost all the others I have been in as well! Gotta give a shout out to the gang at the DG on the right just before the Hardee's going toward JC on Fort Henry. However I know all those folks have been working dang hard for just as long as I have since this Pandemic started way back when. Good job folks and thank you.”
“I love the dollar tree. Although they are carrying nicer items then they charge you more for them. I will say that the one on West Market doesn't have a big selection like the one on North Roan Street. I recommend going to North Roan as opposed to going to the one on the West market. I went here not long ago and they refuse to help me or assist me to find anything. I simply asked for one specific product that I know they had carried at one point and both employees said they didn't know instead of showing me something similar or trying to even help me look for it they just completely ignored me. It appears to me that they just didn't want to do their job. Because of this, I will not go to this particular store I will go to the other one now.”
“Love the store itself but there is one woman blonde older lady that is so rude there that it’s ridiculous. She will block the isle while working and not let customers pass. I’ve managed huge stores for years and this is unheard of.”
“I go to the Dollar General a few times a week. I don't always go to this location as there are many others in the area. However this location has become my go to. This is the newest Dollar General that I know of within the surrounding area. This is considered one of their bigger stores, as they carry more stock than others. The workers are helpful and kind 99.9% of the time. They have new deals every week that you can view online or in a few weekly sales paper issues that are free and in view when your walk in. They accept cash, credit/debit , and SNAP/EBT. The only thing I can think of that might effect people is if the right item is a good deal that week they will probably sell out. For example last week they had 2-liter Mellow Yellows for $0.85 cents a piece. I went to 4 different Dollar General stores, but all were sold out.”
“Also greets me when I walk through the front door, an if they see me struggling they come ask me if I need help! All dollar general stores are basically the same stuff it's the people that make this one so great!”

“There were a few occasions when I didn't have enough money to pay for my groceries. The woman with the stylish glasses, which change each time I see her, kindly told me not to worry and offered to cover the remaining cost.”
“I absolutely love this store. It's always clean, the shelves are well stocked and the customer service is the best thing of all. Everyone is always kind and helpful. This store in my opinion is the best of the Dollar Stores in Kingsport. I would highly suggest it to anyone.”
“Great experience with new manager. I am glad they have someone who will keep the shelves stocked. Previously I would have to wait days, weeks even months to find one thing. (I would obviously just go to another store) but hopefully with the new manager, things will run smooth. Plus, it's convenient . Always in and out. Never s long line. And when there is , you are checked out quick. With a smile!”
“Purchase perchance? A preposterous peoepling proving this place particularly popular. Alliteration aside, all can acknowledge an actual ample accumulation of articles et al. “Still once again best place ever. I get tested like family and they all have known me my whole life. It’s so wholesome and fun walking in. If I could give Allen 2000 stars for the job he does and work he puts in I would. He is the best employee this company could ask for he’s there from open to close most days but it always brightens my day when I get to see him! They all kept up with my pregnancy and absolutely adore my son since he’s been born. If I don’t have to shop anywhere else I won’t because the vibe and love I get from there. 10/10 recommend shopping here for whatever you need. Like I said Allen is the bestest! I love to go in just to talk sometimes. Never had a bad experience and I love all the employees.”
“There is two employees that work here that deserve a raise AND SO MUCH MORE,The beautiful blacked haired girl has always helped me when I come in with my children, she always has a smile on her face and I've never seen her be rude to a customer, and then the amazing man with long hair who has always been sweet and asked me how my day was, find items I couldn't find and he even helped me pay for me food when I was $1.00 over. I know dollar general gets a lot of hate but these two employees are amazing, I wish I knew there names but ether way keep up the good work, y'all are amazing .”

“What a perfect time to tell a Chrismas story...... This evening I went to the Dollar Gereral at 1033 Home Depot with the hopes of finding a Chrismas tree, I saw one on display at the window, it was 4 ft tall. I walked in to ask if they had anymore and was told no, I asked if they would be willing to sell the demo and they said no again, but it seemed to bother them that they couldn't help, without me seeing it as a problem, I asked if they would sell it to me for 25.00 and they said they would call the manager, to my surprise, the answer was YES! I was so moved because I had looked for real trees, but this year they were far and few between. It wasn't just the fact they were going to sell it to me, but the enthusiasm they displayed while boxong it up, the kindness they showed was immeasurable and I was totally moved by it that I started to cry. This year has been tough for everyone, and what I learned in the particular with Dollar General store was that kindness still exists, the love and humanity these 2 ladies displayed was almost unreal, because during these tough times, many people have forgotten how to be kind. Their names, and don't forget it, are Amiee and Crystal. Even though kindness has been hard to find, we must always remember that it still exists and God is always here with us, just look with an open heart, be kind yourself and to others and you will be surprised that it really is all around us! Thank you Amiee and Crystal, this is an experience I will never forget!! Oh and through their kindness they sold me the tree for 7.50!!! I will never forget this day at Dollar General, and what Amiee and Chrystal did for me...Remember, kindness is everywhere, you just have to open your heart :)”
“Love this Dollar Tree! Staff are so kind! This year I bought doggie outfits...all offered. I got the Reindeer, the Christmas Elf (which I did professional pictures in), & the red sleeper. They sold out of every Reindeer outfit except here. I got the last one! Hope they come out with seasonal Halloween & new Christmas ones!”
“Anytime I receive excellent service at a store, I want to make sure the staff are recognized for it. Today I visited store 106, and Jason was working behind the register. They greeted me and other shoppers with genuine joy & kindness. When they checked my purchase out at the register, Jason was helpful & thoughtful. Jason was the reminder I needed today that the random kindness of a stranger can go a long way in making someone else feel seen in a positive way.”

“The cashiers are rarely wearing their masks correctly. I worry about them. One of the places I see people most not wearing mask and not respecting the distance recommended.”
“This store on website says it's open till 11 but when I went there tonight got there at 9pm and it was already closed on the door it says they close at 9pm everyday so if ur going here or any of the others keep in mind it closes at 9pm not 11pm that's all and I love shopping at these stores there are some great deals here as well”

“Popped in 3/7/24 to return an item. The gal working the register was very sweet and kind. The return was quick and easy. She was knowledgeable about the store and was able to answer my question about airing up balloons in the future and how much is costs. Nicer than other DGs I’ve been in :)”
