“I found fabric for a CapeCoat i want to make and it's so soft!!! It's stained so lightly I think just a little bit of baking soda will take it right out ? the staff are so friendly and it's very mellow.”
“From the outside, you might be impressed with the condition of the building, but don't let that turn you away. Remember yo never judge a book by its cover. I saw people in need of help. Everyone needs help when they are running on hope. You're only going to find smiles and help that you didn't expect. Looking for a 2nd chance, come here.”
“This is a truly beautiful place; this sanctuary rescues dogs that aren’t being adopted because they’re old or have medical problems and pays for all their medical care, special foods, and grooming even when they’re in foster homes. The staff and volunteers at the facility were kind and generous, and truly have such good hearts for the work that they are doing. The facility is state of the art and so clean, these dogs truly are living their best lives. I highly encourage participation in one of their frequent events (such as senior dog yoga)- their website has multiples ways to help out or get involved in such a special and meaningful mission ?”
“What a gem! Came here for Honky Tonk Tuesday (was recommended by a few locals). Good vibes and good people. It's like walking into a time capsule of yesteryear. A lot dress up in hat/boots but it seemed like everyone's cool if you just come as you are. And the Cowpokes are absolutely amazing! Two-steppin to great music for a great cause. What more could you ask for?”
“The facilities are always clean. The staff is wonderful, accommodating, and always very pleasant. The youth staff in the infant room are fantastic! They always recognize my child and me, and are very engaging. My one year old Theodora loves visiting the Y!”
“It was absolutely awesome. To hear the background on how it was first conceived. The tour was so enlightening. Rhonda our tour guide was able bring out so much information that most people never know
Thank you Gideon for the tour.”
“My new favorite place to shop ! It feels like a treasure hunt! I call it retail therapy! Plus my husband made a donation and they gave out a 50% off purchase coupon if you donated last month!”

“Love this place. I found this spot about two years ago, just interested in meditation. I was new to Nashville, and the community is amazing and I found friends, as well as some really helpful meditation skills. The teachers are awesome and super legit.”
“My kids like it, wish the park was a little bigger. We like the community center, it's full of activities and toys for the kids for all ages. Their favorite area is the splash pad during summer time. They just built a very big pavillion next to splash pad.”
“My favorite place to have go for all Dance classes. Many teachers rent this space to give their Dance classes. At Casa Azafrán they have a great practice Room with a mirror across one wall and a ballet bar across the other. The practice room and restrooms are always clean, plus there’s a water fountain in the hallway and there’s plenty of parking.”
“I was so thankful for the LMTS this year the volunteers were nice and helpful. They are every year and the sheriff department thanks for Blessing my 5 kiddo's this holiday”
“What an amazing foundation with a mission to support families during their most difficult moments. I am grateful for receiving delicious and nutritious meals during my cancer treatment. It was a source of comfort and hope when I could barely cook for myself and my family. Thank you for all you do.”
“I love everything about it; the message, the people, the environment, the programs, the social media, etc. I listen to the sermons and the podcasts while working and I have found them more useful more than any radio or podcast platform.
I recommend everyone visiting the place if you can.”
“I love the Restore stores if Im looking for solid furniture or household items. The Harding Place location (south Nashville) is great for acquiring items from home remodel. Since it's fairly close to both Green Hills, businesses, Crieve Hall and Brentwood, this store gets some nice things. Some items are brand new or barely used. I found Thomasville night stands for $30. While in decent shape as it, I refinished in black stain with clear varnish to make it more water resistant. $300-500 worth of furniture for less than $100. This was several years ago, but still a good buy even at $50 each. If I had room to acquire items and learn to refinish, Restore would be visited often!”

“Having done previous counseling and recovery work, I came in a bit skeptical and anxious about whether Bethesda would be able to offer me anything helpful. I was pleasantly surprised. Whether you’ve tried other counseling or recovery programs before or have never opened up to anyone at all, this is a place you can come and first find a place of safety and healing, but also a ton of practical advice to actually equip you to walk out of there with a hope for your future.
I didn’t really know what to expect with having a roommate, or whether I would even connect with the other guys, but by day 2, me and my roommate were really synced up, and it was kind of uncanny the degree to which we could relate to each other. I walked away from there with a ton of gratitude for the counselors, the program, the way God moved in our lives, and for having gained a brother in the battle in the process.
I also want to give a specific shout out to my group counselor, Kirk, who is one of the realest dudes I’ve met. No cheesy Christian platitudes; Just grounded practical advice from his years of expertise as a counselor and from a faith that can actually endure the darkness rather than ignore it or just simply Band-Aid over it.
To just shoot you straight, as the disciples said in the gospels, “Come and see.””

“Carpenter's Square is a facility that houses Y.E.S (youth encouragement services) and Christ for the Nations Church. It is a great resource for our community and does amazing work!”
“The Nikki Mitchell Foundation has been so supportive of my mother as she goes thru her treatments. Something as simple as a meal and a tank of gas goes a long way for us. We thank you, NMF, for the blessing you have been to us. May your foundation continue to be blessed, in Jesus's name, Amen!”
“Harvest Hands is no longer at this location. They are a site at 4732 W Longdale Dr.
Sorry, we saw a bunch of equipment blocking access and thought it was closed.”
“Amazing Organization, great communication and my daughter really enjoys after school care with you all! Thank you for being there - it helps out more than you know! ♥️ I appreciate you all!”
“I have been a member of HON for the past 3 years but recently starting getting active. There are always volunteer opportunities for every age range. Everything is always organized and the staff are friendly and proud of what they do. Looking forward to signing up for many more.”
“I'm not sure what they do here.
I deliver there from time to time.
The dock is tricky, especially if you're a noob.
The people there are AWESOME!”
“I was received as a refugee back in 2016 and my stay in this country hasn’t been tough as other people because I’ve always had them to guide me in every step . With their help I was able to acquired enough knowledge and skills that made me transform my life around in less than 3 years. Now am currently working with them and best believe, this is not a regular company but a community of people who knows and understands the importance of human when it comes to changing peoples lives who have no idea of relocation and adjusting to America life style.”
“Good to help others while getting stuff you need lots of clothes and shoes toys books & movies as well as household appliances dishes silverware n coffee mugs ?✌️”
