“Great little gift shop with stuff you won’t see any other place in Nashville as their tagline says “gifts for just about everyone” its the only place I know of that you can pick up a great candle or maybe a piece of jewelry and some great choices or gifts for children age groups under 8. Then there’s the greeting card selections from some of the most formal to the ones that might offend some folks. If you’re easily offended by the F word spelled out then you probably oughta not look on some of the card racks because that seems to be the word that is the best ones I think. And as an extra special surprise as I was paying for my purchases up behind the counter sits the 2 most well behaved and trained Boston. Terriers I’ve ever seen here are a few photos”

And while not all are locally produced, it's nice to support a small, local business. Nancy also provided some great recommendations of things to do (one of which we did right away)! “Wonderful service!! A diamond chip came out of my wedding ring and I needed a silver chain repaired. He fixed and cleaned my ring (my ring hasn't been this shiny since my husband proposed) and replaced my chain all for a really reasonable price. I definitely will recommend over and over! Perfect if you're looking for a local jeweler to support.”

“my first tattoo, almost 55! My son had ear-piecing here, I loved the environment so asked them about a tattoo. I was introduced to Myke and showed him a photo of what I wanted, he explained about size and detail, about not having a tattoo that becomes a blue blur in a few years. A week later I’m there, Myke takes the pic I like, artistically turns it into ‘beyond my expectations’ was it painful? No, a couple of spicy bits - 95% was like having my back scratched nothing more. I waited for the scabbing, discharge, flaking, nope, day 4 some dry skin, that’s it! The detail is incredible, the shading, the color! It was so good my next review is the tattoo Myke did for my hubby! His first tattoo!

Joyeria La Central, which is a wonderful shop, is the sole shining exception to that rule. With a focus on affordable quality jewelry to mark significant life events and beauty available to hardworking people who use their assets appropriately, this is THE place to get a family heirloom repaired, cleaned, and respected. Now that they have shown consummate professionalism and affordability for my heirloom repairs I will bring my beloved late father's ring there to be repaired and polished. As a generational Nashvillian with a family history here I am duly impressed with the values exhibited by this business and I hope they remain a fixture here exhibiting community values. Also, I don't have to spend a ton of money taking my heirlooms to Green Hills when this place is closer to me and much more affordable with unequaled professionalism.”
