They have such an awesome process of dress selection and trying the dresses on! There are SOOOO many dresses to choose from for all different body types! They take care of everything from taking the dresses and starting a fitting room to helping put the dresses on, zipping, tying, whatever needs to be done! “I've been involved with many many weddings and formal events over the years across middle and East Tennessee. Gilded Gown is hands down the best experience I've been involved in and the only one I would make sure to return to and confidently give five stars.
The staff was friendly, attentive, kind, listened to the brides likes and dislikes and took constructive criticism of gowns to find the right one for my sister. I honestly could not recommend Diane as a consultant anymore if I wanted to - 10/10 person to help you find your wedding and occasion dress.
The shop itself was beautiful. Well organized. Clean. Each 'runway' spot was set up with complimentary snacks and water. Dresses were fairly and competitively priced with most wedding gowns hovering around the $1000 mark but plenty of options at $500 and I don't think I saw any past the 2k mark. Most bridal salons average is 3k.
The only thing is here what you try is what you buy. There is no ordering of customizations or alterations, however, they provide a list of seamstresses they recommended around East and Midddle Tennessee.
Should I or my friend have an occasion, we will be back.”

“I went in looking for bridesmaid dresses because I was tired of ordering swatches of dresses online & it taking forever. I didn’t find exactly what I was looking for but atleast I could see it in person & get a good idea of what I liked or didn’t like. The next moment my mom tells me that we should look at wedding dresses. Finding a wedding dress was the least exciting thing (in my mind) that I knew I had to do during the engagement process. I found a dress & as soon as Betsy was zipping me up….it was meant to be before I even looked in the mirror. I walked out and saw myself for the first time & I felt incredible. Betsy was very patient & let me have some time to really think & have an emotional moment. I bet it was awkward for her as I started crying & didn’t say anything for a few minutes, but I was happy she was so kind & treated me so cordially in such an emotional moment. She helped me think through all of the options of shoes, veil, possible under skirt, how to walk in the dress etc. Finding the dress was the last thing I wanted to do, but with the magical-ness of the moment it felt like it was meant to be.”
