A friend mailed me a package, but USPS sent her a text that they couldn’t deliver because access to my front porch was blocked. What??That was a blatant lie! I was home all day with my door open. There’s nothing on my front porch to prevent access- NOTHING!. To make it worse, they said the same thing the next day! We have package containers next to our mailboxes, and when you have a delivery, they put it into the container, and the key goes in your mailbox. Why didn’t they do that? This is clearly their excuse because they knew they lost my package….again. I sometimes wonder if it’s a prerequisite to be incompetent, reckless, and rude in order to apply with USPS. I caught our carrier once putting my package in someone else’s box. I was expecting it that day, so I went to the box when I saw her arrive.. When I questioned her about it, instead of saying, “oh, I’m so sorry about that”, she just tossed at me. That package would have been lost as well, if I hadn’t caught it. I now have 5 packages lost by carriers in my neighborhood.Bottom line is- USPS is hiring ‘bottom of the barrel’ employees. They don’t seem to care about the carnage they leave behind, the time and effort it takes customers to figure out where their mail is, and the absolute lack of response by USPS, when customers contact them. Why should I be surprised though, it’s the stupid federal government running their stupid show.

USPS E Weisgarber Road, Knoxville, TN 37950-I needed some help in connection with a passport. Dustin provided efficient and professional service to me, and I am extremely grateful. I also observed his co-worker cheerfully helping another customer when I arrived. I wish all post offices in the U.S. were like this one. Thank you Dustin!

Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Packages sent off, will revisit this review if any issues but is suspect it will be fine.

I'm in an apartment with mail lockers. My mail carrier is constantly putting things in the wrong box and nothing is ever done about it being an ongoing problem. Right now I'm missing a package again. They're so careless or else they need to invest in glasses to read the address better.

Absolutely the rudest people ever! I understand there is a mail delay however the days the mail is supposed to run I still get no mail and the male working there today slammed the door and said it’s my problem!

The USPS in general is a joke, it’s one of the most mismanaged businesses I’ve ever seen. I get informed delivery,I got yesterday’s mail, which wasn’t even mine but everything from January 16 to Wednesday 1/24/24 is somewhere besides my mailbox n nobody knows where it is. My tax forms from my business is among the lost mail n I’m not particularly interested in having that information just out there.

I don't understand how this post office is allowed to continue existing, so many times "out for deliver" never gets delivered, failure to scan packages at every stage, pathetic, would give zero stars if I could

One star simply because I can't put in a no-star review. No stars. Zero. No one answers. Ever.

The most unknowledgeable and unprofessional staff. I printed off $500+ of Every Door Direct Mail and the staff including both supervisors had 0 idea how to process it.They “redirect” you to the Weisbargar location … so I have to drive to the other side of town for assistance. One of the staff members advised they “just aren’t trained on how to process EDDM manually”. Do not give into them telling you have to go to through a 3rd party, that is 100% bull.

I just walked 69 steps to my mailbox to look to see if a package has been left there. It was and USPS left the package, marked with its contents of over $200 sitting on the dirt at the curb near my mailbox. This isn't the first time. The other time it was medical supplies.

WORSE USPS IN THE COUNTRY!!!!! They held my package for shipment for more than 3 days even it was a priority mail. Money spent for nothing to make sure it gets to its destination as desired!

Absolute worst service I've ever received at a post office. I placed my mail on hold through the website so that I could physically pick it up due to having been displaced because of a tornado. Stopped in to pick up my mail and Jamie (supervisor) stated the person who typically deals with that route was not there that day but would be in the next day. She took my name, address, and phone number, and stated she'd call me when it was ready. A week and a half later, I finally decide to stop in to check the status and the lady at the front brought me everyone's mail but my own. She then told me to wait at a door for the manager, which I'd asked for, and I had to ring three times, wait ten minutes, and then go back to the front to the same lady that then told me he was on a call that could take 2hrs. Some training is desperately needed at this location on customer service! Why would you have a customer wait KNOWING he's on a call that could potentially take 2 hours. She then proceeded to tell me that all mail from that location has been returned because it was too much to hold. Then the hold option should not be given online! People have important things they're waiting on and expect to pick up because they've placed their things on hold and come in to nothing because it's being returned. Clearly, due to all these reviews prior to mine something needs to be done. Absolutely ridiculous!

This location is incompetent, unhelpful, condescending, and ridiculously lacking in professionalism, communication, knowledge, or customer service. Judging by the long list of others that experience the same, this location needs be looked into. Other locations in Knoxville are much more professional and helpful. They are demeaning and rude from the start. After a tornado hit our apartments they held our mail but not a single employee could find my mail other than 4-5 pieces of mostly junk mail. When I went a 3rd time, I was told they shipped it to Memphis after a 30 day hold - even though the hold I personally signed up for hadn’t ended yet. Both employees on 2 occasions told me the mail was piled up in a back room unsorted and one almost fell over all the piles (her words). This place is terrible. Absolutely terrible.
