Weigel's is a gas station that is generally great, with the best prices in this part of the city. The staff is so nice, welcoming, and does an amazing job, always working hard with positive things to say. Customers can find everything needed, including enjoying food from Subway inside. However, some specific criticisms were noted. The Knoxville hot chicken is not recommended, described as just regular chicken covered in cayenne pepper. Also, for a long time, the location has not had ice cream due to freezer issues. Additionally, the gas pumping speed at one pump was experienced as very slow.
Don’t fall for the Knoxville hot chicken. It’s just the regular chicken covered in cayenne pepper. I feel like I am birthing out a volcano I am a surrogate mother to. That chicken wasn’t worth all of this. The gas stations great. Just not this chicken.

Inessa who runs this store, is so welcoming. She does an amazing job. Everytime I see her she is working her tail off and always has positive things to say. I’ve come to this location every since I was a kid and she has turned the place around!

Went here over thirty years of my life but for the past year or so they don’t have ice cream, can’t get there freezers fixed or something always have to go to Casey’s now and they are even worse can’t even get mayfield to deliver there but can at least get some kind of cream
