“If I could give them a 3.5 star rating, I feel that would be most appropriate. These guys are pleasant to speak with and they were efficient and honest with their estimates, and ultimately they did good work with a good warranty. The problems I had were timing and communication. I was initially told my car would take 2-3 weeks, but they had it for 7 weeks before they even put the used transmission in, only to find that it was slipping and it needed another transmission. I found myself frustrated throughout the process, as I would often have to call or text several times and wait days between responses to my prompts for an update. All told, my car was in their possession for 9 weeks. That being said, it is a small shop with only a handful of employees, and they had various personal emergencies that unfortunately coincided with each other, rendering them quite short-handed for several weeks. So I am willing to give them grace there. They also Venmo'd me when I disclosed that I needed to Uber to an out of town job, since they hadn't gotten my car to me yet. They also waived the labor fee for the 2nd transmission because I had been waiting so long. That was very kind of them. I don't think they are bad people or bad mechanics, I just think that they could stand be more organized and communicative. Thank you guys for the work that you did!”

“So glad I was referred to Mr. Transmission twice by two different individuals! My car was giving me a few problems and once I described the issue to the gentleman at Mr. Transmission he knew exactly what it was. They are reasonably price, honest and offer great service. Highly recommend.”
