“Brenda works hard to bring items at a more affordable price than other stores. They also have giving hearts and do donatiins with Blount co Christmas and the local animal shelters. Brenda also runs a community food pantry to help neighbors in need. The weekly auctions and sales help drive down the cost of much needed or wanted items. My.only advice to you is if she posts a sale get there early:)”

“HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! We first want to say that DAN IS THE MAN AT RUNNING THIS STORE!!! It's hard to find people like dan that greets you right when you walk in the door! Dan also has a VERY UPBEAT PERSONALITY which is also very hard to find in this day in time. Just wanna say your doing an AMAZING JOB at running this store I know you don't hear it anymore but you definitely deserve a HUGE pay raise for going above & beyond thank you for always having a smile it means ALOT to us!”

“I usually would give this place 5 stars because this is my favorite store in town to go to, they always have the best and coolest things for me and my disabled husband to just slow down and enjoy looking at and buying. But today I have never felt more ostracized, and it wasn't even by a bystander like usual, it was from a employee. Every other employee was so helpful and sweet to me, I wish I knew their names, even tried helping me find an item I was in desperate search to find and bring home with me. But when it came time to check ourselves out, which is hard in itself due to my husband being disabled and we had a lot of things we carried and he has a cane he holds in one hand, it takes us awhile with the new self checkout machines. Today is 09/20/2025. And as we finally got our bag and receipt I do what I always do and tell the young girl at the front to have a good day and I think we finally got out of your hair (haha as I giggle) and she wouldn't even look at me, didn't speak to me, and looked at my husband like either he was an invalid, a criminal, or not worthy of being inside the store let alone in her presence. I'm not even going to mention that he fell outside of the store and started bleeding and had to ask for a bandaid he was already feeling nervous and out of place to begin. And the fact that she treated us like we were less than her when I always make the employees feel like they matter to us because they do because we've lived it hurt me more than him to see his reaction after the fact to her facial expressions and lack of customer service.”

“Busy little store but with the shortage of good employees because of covid, they are a little hard to navigate because of back stock. However, I'm here almost daily and management is working super hard to fix it. Friendly store.”

“Been looking all over town for pitchers to make tea in and everyone was out. Stores had them for aroind $12 for 1gal to $17 for 1.5gal. Here though they had 3 of them on the shelf at $4 apiece. Needless to say I bought all 3.”

“HIGHLY RECOMMEND this location!! I had to use the bathroom & walked in asked if there restroom was working the lady says there is 2 ahead of you I've only got 1 bathroom working the other 1 is down. I gave 5 stars because even though there was only 1 bathroom working it was the CLEANEST I've EVER SEEN!!!And I've been in a lot of dollar generals but none compared to this one. SO KEEP UP THE GREAT WORKING YOU GUYS ARE DOING A AWESOME JOB!!!! ??”

“My review below was when the male manager was at this store. I made a trip here today and Dollar General now has a lady named Gidget as the new store manager. I now give the store a 5 star rating, she is super friendly, a great personality and makes sure you are finding what you need. Thank you to the upper management for seeing this store needed someone like her to make a go at this location. I have made this store my go to store again because she treats you with respect!I used to like this store but they have changed the staff and they lost a customer today by not waiting on me. I actually went yesterday, the shelves were empty and the carts loaded with stock to put up were sitting all over the store in the aisles. No room to get down some of the aisles. Today I went to pick up 1 item, the boss was busy putting up stock, walked up and saw me at the counter but never offered to wait on me. I put my item back and made the commit they just lost a customer. They messed up when they lost those friendly ladies they did have there.”
