DO NOT LET JOEL THOMPSON MOVE YOU!!! He damaged and lost so many items it is unreal. He improperly packed literally everything in my house. They allocated 3 days for him to pack my house. He did it in one day and it shows. Every single box was packed as if as soon as a box was assembled people from every room in the house came and put items in that one box. Everything was mislabeled. Over half the items didn't even have item number tags. Then he forgot to bring some of our stuff on delivery day and had to come back and deliver those items. This move was a nightmare. Hopefully the claims process for all the lost and damaged items goes smoother than the move did.

As far as moving goes (which is never fun or easy), these United teams at Armstrong made it so much better: Tom Allmon, Brittany Williams, and the BEST driver Robert Williams and his crew team especially Cheryl and Carl Hill. I have been professionally moved 3 other times and these teams have been THE most professional, friendly, courteous, kind, STRONG good people with a sense of humor we truly appreciate when in such a stressful situation. Things have come out unloaded intact so far (we just got delivered) and we are grateful for the on time delivery. TRULY makes a difference when you work with good people like these. If we move again, we know who to call!

We moved from Hornlake Ms to OliveBranch Ms literally 20 minutes down the street. While packing my house 2 movers dropped my couch on the ground twice. While one tried to get a grip of it the back ripped off and 2 small holes are on the top of the couch. Also while moving the furniture into the new home another mover dropped the kitchen table breaking it. The supervisor that was here said where is the glorilla glue so yeah they glued the legs back on then wrapped tape on it to hold it in place. When the table hit the tile floor it put a few scratches and chipped the floor. I reached out to them concerning this and thinking they will be fair since everything was insured I’d be fairly compensated but I’ve been in contact with Tracy Toten and we initially settled on 500.00 which is low but I’m ready to get it over with so I agreed we’ll today a full 2 weeks after we agreed I would get a measly 500 she emailed and said it has to be 300.00
This multimillion dollar company don’t want to pay for the damage they caused. I’m not saying I should get thousands of dollars but nothing is cheap. I have to get someone to pull up 3 tile pieces and reinstall and the table is not able to be used safely. I added pictures for context but the pictures don’t show how bad the floor look or the way the couch looks.
I’m over the back and fourth and just want to move on but I wouldn’t recommend this company to move a dog house a street over. I only went with them because it was 400 cheaper than other companies but you get what you pay for.
