I wasn’t looking to buy a car when I got off the interstate to find a dealership. Instead, I needed someone to show me how to turn down/off my mother’s GPS (GPS lady was screaming wrong directions at me) in her car.
I stopped at AutoNation of Memphis to ask for help. Omar Mustafa, an employee, spent 15 minutes with me, explaining how to work mother’s car. He didn’t have to do that. I’m sure he would have rather made a sale or finished up work than help me. Enthusiastically, he helped me learn which buttons & their functions were.
The next time I need a new car, I will definitely buy from Omar at AutoNation in Memphis. If he takes care of non-customers, I know he must take equally or better care of his customers.
Just a shout out to Omar Mustapha for making your company shine. Keep up the great work, y’all!
Rebecca

I had to special order some fuses for my truck. That was the Ford location that I could select from Ford’s website. I was in and out really quickly. Super polite guys that work there. Extremely helpful. I will absolutely use their location for parts again when I need to.

(EDITED): the response you see below, where they claim to direct me to the “general manager,” is the main phone tree that I’ve had to go through dozens of times. I’ve tried calling and calling and they never call back. They do not care, don’t let them try to convince you otherwise.
Do NOT buy a car here or go to get service for any reason. I bought a bronco sport brand new from them. I’m having to take it in for the fourth time in less than a month. I haven’t had my car for weeks because of their carelessness and/or incompetence, and they refuse to give me a rental. The service advisors, Heather and Terry, has been unhelpful and non communicative. Getting in touch is difficult, it’s like pulling teeth getting them to respond. I’ve given them several opportunities to make it right, and they simply won’t. It’s so disappointing. Do not come here at all.

Disappointing Experience After 30 Years of Loyalty
I’d like to share a recent and disappointing experience with AutoNation Ford Mt. Moriah, particularly surprising given my nearly 30-year history as a loyal customer. Over the years, my family and I have purchased more than 20 vehicles from this dealership, dating back to before it became AutoNation. Unfortunately, this latest interaction has left me questioning whether long-term loyalty still holds any value.
On Monday, August 18th, I expressed interest in a new truck listed on the Edmunds website, which was located at the Mt. Moriah dealership. Shortly after submitting my online inquiry, I received a phone call from a number associated with AutoNation.
The representative began by confirming my identity and acknowledging my online inquiry. When he asked about scheduling a test drive, I clarified that I preferred to first discuss the details over the phone. If we could come to an agreement, I was ready to move forward with the purchase in person.
He mentioned he lived in Arlington, which suggested he had reviewed my customer profile, as I previously resided there. I informed him of my relocation and asked for the dealership’s best price on the truck, noting I was aware it had already been discounted but was curious if there was additional flexibility.
He responded that the listed price included taxes and a dealer-installed protection plan. I expressed that I was not interested in paying for dealer add-ons, at which point the tone of the conversation noticeably changed. When I pressed for clarification, he stated, “We’ll talk about it,” which I found vague and dismissive. I asked if that meant he would consult with his manager and follow up with me. He confirmed, and I asked him to please do so.
As of Thursday, August 20th, I have not received any further communication.
Frankly, the lack of follow-up and the dismissive tone during our initial conversation were disappointing. I may have been direct in my communication, but that shouldn’t preclude professional service — especially from a dealership I’ve supported for decades.
Sadly, this experience has made it clear that customer loyalty doesn’t carry the weight it once did. AutoNation’s handling of this situation has certainly diminished my opinion of the brand.
For those in the market for a new vehicle, I suggest exploring other dealerships. That’s what I’ll be doing moving forward.

Sal is professional and makes having your car serviced an experience. My husband and I had two vehicles needing to be serviced. Sal took care quickly the first vehicle within a reasonable amount of time. The second vehicle we had to leave. Within a week, Sal notified us about potential problem and we were able to pick it up. I love that he is eager to help and offers service as if we were family. I would give 10 out of 10 stars if I could.

If you're looking for someone who will truly go above and beyond to get you into a vehicle, ask for Racquel McDaniel! She made the entire car-buying process so smooth and stress-free for both me and my mother. From the start, Racquel worked incredibly hard to get us approved and fought to find the best options that worked within our budget.
She’s knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely cares about her customers. You can tell she takes pride in helping people, and it shows in the way she handled everything from start to finish. I can’t recommend her enough if you need a car, Racquel is the one to see!

It was excellent service, as usual. The work was done professionally and in a timely manner. Plus, the waiting area was clean and stocked with great refreshments. Thank you Auto Nation.

I searched for a Ford dealer to clear some recalls on my truck and this AutoNation, unlike others, actually returned my call to schedule an appointment. The work was performed over a 2 day period and they did a good job of keeping me apprised of the progress and notified me when the work was completed.

Horrible experience with service! Had SUV towed in on 7/15 due to check engine light on. Advisor Andrew stated misfire issue was under a TSB (22-2322). The vehicle has Premium Care. Promised return dates came and were passed multiple times. Finally returned vehicle on 8/14. Within 12 hours, we noticed green drips on the garage floor. We took it to another service provider. They found "driver side outer CV axle boot broken (needed replaced) with grease slung inside wheel and knuckle, grease on inner pad and rotor of breaks (needed new for safety), and improper refrigerant level (needed filled to correct level) for A/C." I reported the issues to Service Manager, John. He wanted me to bring in the vehicle. I said I wouldn't trust them to work on it again! I explained that I could not be without my vehicle for another month+ also. Like I expected when I called, no ownership of issue (even though they had to drop the axle to replace the short block). This damage was done by Ford Service team!!! I went to CB Southaven paid out of pocket for the above three things and had my SUV back in two day. Sorry, Mt Moriah Ford, but you lost a 3rd generation Ford family. Bye!

Poor communication. Slow service. Being conpletely ignored for 4 weeks..only gave back a star because the last week(5th), after complaining to their corporate office and FINALLY speaking to their service manager, that last week went fast and was finally fixed

My Recent Experience with AutoNation Ford!
I want to take a moment to share my recent experience with AutoNation Ford, which I believe serves as a cautionary tale for those seeking reliable service.I took my vehicle in for repairs, trusting that AutoNation Ford would address the issues my car was experiencing. However, to my dismay, not only were the repairs not completed, but I also found myself struggling to get in touch with anyone from the service department. Despite repeated attempts to reach out, my calls and messages went unanswered, leaving me feeling frustrated and neglected. It’s disheartening when customer service falls short of expectations, especially when dealing with something as important as a vehicle's maintenance. My experience has made me reconsider where to turn for future service needs, as reliability should never be compromised.I hope sharing my story helps others avoid a similar disappointment. I believe we all deserve better treatment and accountability, especially from businesses we trust. As a business person myself, I believe that customer service is essential for the success of the business. I have and always will put my customers first. This transaction is the best example why. Thank you for taking the time to read my feedback.
Best regards,
