Blues City Thrift Store is a 501(c)3 charity. Everything in the store has been donated by generous benefactors. When you shop, you help support charities and ministries right here in the city. The store has a small but stellar selection of clothing, books, furniture and housewares. A whole room for furniture is available, and prices are fair compared to chain thrifts. Friendly staff and employees are kind and helpful. The watch and jewelry grab bags contain wonderful variety and quality. Furniture prices decrease the longer they sit, and teachers enjoy a discount. The store is active on social media and runs sales several times a year. All donations are tax deductible.

This place was great! Really friendly and helpful staff. We bought a quality desk for a great price and the gentlemen were kind enough to load it into our car, despite it being very heavy. A really amazing selection of finds here and the sliding price scale makes it a wonderful place for bargains.

I’ve always donated to Blues City because the profits go to Church Health and other non profits. They are always accommodating when taking things out of car. I usually go in and browse a bit and usually find something to purchase! I know most of what I bring is clean, in good condition and still in style. Shoes are good... read full comment
