“I've been going to Wayne's candy store for years but their prices have gotten extremely too high. I was told about Macklin and I've been going every since. Better prices and I can get something to eat!!”
“I recently had the good fortune to move into the apartment building which houses The Peanut Shoppe. I was able to meet the owner of the shop, Rida, this past weekend. Such friendly service. Rida offered me a cup of his special blend tea which was truly wonderful & warm. As I enjoyed the tea Rida told me of his history with the shop which was incredibly interesting mainly because of his enthusiasm. The shop offers so many varites of delicious, warm roasted nuts I found it hard to choose just one. Thankfully, by living in the building I will be able to frequent the Peanut Shoppe often.”
“I had a great experience at Beale Sweets Sugar Shack! The woman working there was incredibly kind and helpful, and made my visit extra special. The variety of sweets and treats is amazing, and everything was fresh and delicious. If you’re looking for a candy shop with a friendly atmosphere and a great selection, this is the place to go. Definitely a must-visit when you’re in the area!”
“Well for me it wasn't so exciting. Now the no longer take coins, no split payments, and charges 4% to use your debit card. I was taken aback by those because my customers don't always use cards, and when I was coming up as a child it was a such thing as Penny candy! I don't think I'll ever shop here!”
“Truffles are expensive but good. Most chocolate places have average truffles. These are more expensive than those places but are much tastier. I am glad I stopped here”

“I ordered online, so I haven't been to this location. But the caramels are outstanding. So buttery and decadent. The absolute best caramels I've ever eaten, and it makes me happy to know that I'm shopping from a local business.”

“10 outta 10 VISIT this place. The candy price per pound was less than I expected and the kids loved it. Employees there was wonderful as well. Very friendly . And lots of candy to choose from”
“Lots of beautiful candies to choose from! The shelves were still fully stocked a day before Christmas Eve and they were still making more in the back! I will say that we felt rushed in our choices but that is possible to be expected around that time. The honeycomb (which was new to us) was really fun to eat! The texture was so different and strange but in a good way! Definitely loved the pecan clusters! Snagged some gold coins for stocking stuffers and two days after Christmas they are already devoured!”
“We love this place. We usually visit the midtown location, but this was close to where we ate lunch. Everyone can find something here even if you say you don't like sweets.”
“Dinstuhl’s has been a Memphis staple for decades and is one of the best candy stores in the country. For our family Easter is not complete without a solid chocolate bunny and their fudge suckers.”
