I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!

Overly Expensive and mediocre environment. People are only there for an easy check from easy work instead of genuinely being there for all children coming various backgrounds. My child seems to keep getting singled out when I have witnessed children misbehaving more than reported. I saw a caucasian child spit in an African-American child’s face while the frustrated child cries and screams for the teacher ; no one wrote this up. Children playing rough with my child and doing child like acts which he has picked up, but is reported to me as if though my child is influencing others which he is not. He has picked up Ill acts from other students yet he seems to be singled out. Paid a full week of tuition just for them to put my child on a leave which means a full week was paid for him to be there for a day over something so frivolous which could have been handled by a stern and understanding childcare professional. This was not what I expected during this short period of providing funding for a Preschool program that does not meet my child’s advanced needs. Now I am taking heed from a couple of instructors from there to place my child in an advanced program since they recommended the suggestion stating Cornerstone is not ideal for his advanced development and how Cornerstone will hinder him and not keep up with him--it was a relief to receive that advicd from the very few ( VERY FEW) employees that seems to have a great deal of patience and care for my son’s advanced needs. This center changes directors far too often which is a management red flag and does not employ genuine childcare professionals. They have had several violations by the state. This experience has been extremely frustrating and draining with this center. I would not recommend. Withdrew him and located a better childcare provider that will be very patient and proactive with my child‘s development and nurturing needs.

First I will say that Rebecca was very nice and helpful. We wanted to get my child used to a classroom/preschool setting (he has never been to one before). The first day I am told that the teacher could not handle him because he couldn't keep still and had trouble staying focused, etc. We were told the teacher wished to speak with us. Not a problem, I called and left a message. Never heard back. The second day they had an assistant sit with my child to give him some one on one and get him used to the rules and what they do in class. When I picked him up the assistant and Mrs. Rebecca said he did better he just needed a few weeks to get used to the new environment and that it was normal since he had never been. However, when I sat down with his teacher I could tell right away that she wasn't going to give him any time to adjust. I was told "I have alot of other students so I don't have time to keep redirecting him". Even after Rebecca tells me that they can do more one on one to help him get adjusted, the teacher is still making excuses as to why he needed a different environment. Needless to say I no longer felt comfortable with my child being under the direction of this teacher. Like all kids, my child has stuff they need to improve on and I was more than happy to help and work with the teacher in anyway she needed Me to to get my child up to par. But the meeting consisted of her simply explaining how overworked she is. I think teachers don't get near enough credit/pay for the jobs they do, I also believe there are a handful who no longer need to teach.

I heard of Cornerstone through some family and friends. Of course with such rave reviews, when initially inquiring, there was a waiting list. By the grace of God, shortly after my son got into the learning center (Mrs. Memrie is the best). I have NO COMPLAINTS. He absolutely loves going, (he runs from the car to the door). The teachers and staff have superb communication skills. It is a feeling like no other to have a place that you know your child(ten) will be safe and taken care of. Furthermore, they have transition amid the current pandemic VERY WELL. I am grateful for Cornerstone Learning Center and definitely recommend it.Updating: We relocated to Dallas from Memphis and I was so sad to leave Cornerstone. However, when my son got to his new school he did an assessment on where he was, he excelled in every category, the next day at drop off the teacher ran out the door to ask where he attended before here and I attribute all of his academic excellence to Cornerstone. Thanks Ms.Danan and Ms. Jamaya!

It's hard to get someone to answer the phone. The information I was given was inaccurate. They had a potential opening until I visited the site, and now they aren't accepting new 3yo students? My hopes were up about this location but my experience/inexperience with this location left a sour taste in my mouth. It shouldn't be this complicated. After three years, I've given up on joining this establishment.

Cornerstone is great. I was a very nervous mom transitioning my son from being cared for at home to a daycare at 8 months old. Ms. Mechele and Matt were absolutely amazing in welcoming us and doing everything to make us comfortable from day one. They continuously advocate for parents. Beyond this, my son’s first teacher, Ms. Susan is the best teacher ever!! She truly enjoys her job with the babies. She consistently kept me updated without me having to ask questions, sent us photos, and always made time to speak to us about any and everything we wanted to discuss. I’m definitely that mom who stays involved and she never made me feel uncomfortable in wanting to talk about my son’s care. Since then, Ms. Memrie has joined the daycare as director and has continued to maintain the feeling of comfort, safety, and open door policy for questions and discussions. She is always very polite and friendly no matter how many times I call to ask questions to get feedback. My son has now been in the 1k class for a few weeks and has been at cornerstone for almost a year. His new teacher, Ms. Alaina, seems really nice and he appears to be learning a lot for his age which is very important to us. We highly recommend Cornerstone and looking forward to having our new addition to the family join Cornerstone in early 2021.

During this very scary time Cornerstone saved this little growing family. They have made me feel secure leaving my kids with them. They have bent over backwards to help us with any issue we outside the daycare. The teachers are absolutely amazing. They really care about my kids. I feel so secure leaving the most important things in my life in their care.

We absolutely adore Cornerstone. From day 1, everyone has made our family feel so comfortable + they've been so incredible to our boys. Not only do they educate our boys but they truly invest in them. What more could you ask for as a parent? I get teary-eyed just thinking about the day we won't be there anymore. They are and will continue to be such a huge part of our family!

The number one priority is our child's education and care. Cornerstone (CLC) goes above and beyond and the teachers are amazing. Every decision at CLC is made based on what is best for the children, this is pretty obvious on a tour but, even more so, after your child has been at the school for just a week and they are settling into a routine. I couldn't be happier with our child's progress, the staff, the facility, and the owner. Thank you, CLC, for taking care of A.C.

I am what most people call “extra” especially when it comes to my kids. I am happy to say that Cornerstone not only meets my expectations and the needs of my three children, but goes above and beyond. As a social worker I can honestly say I do not worry about my children while they are at Cornerstone. All the staff ensure my children are safe and cared for in my absence and that is something I will never be able to repay.

Both of my girls attended Cornersone. One of which starting at 3 months. The staff truly love the children in their care. They went above and beyond for my children. I would highly recommend. Management was very responsive to feedback.

Our daughter has been going here for about a year and 4 months and we have absolutely loved sending her here. The teachers are very engaging, the center is very organized, and they go above and beyond in many ways. We have been very impressed
