subpar work every time I go, so finally reviewing. lumpy bumpy nail polish and rushed work. 3rd time trying since moving to the area and it’s really sad I have to go back home to Memphis for quality work on my nails. Also did not take the criticism well

I had a truly disappointing experience at Cute Nails on Lamar Ave in Memphis, Tennessee, this past Saturday, June 1st. I went in with high hopes, but unfortunately, the level of disrespect and disregard I encountered was far from what I expected. Let me share what happened. Upon entering the salon, I was asked about the services I wanted. I clearly communicated my preferences, specifically requesting the volcano pedicure spa package and a manicure. The man who attended to me seated me in the pedicure chair, picked my color, and confirmed my choices. However, things took an unexpected turn from there. A young lady, who seemed distant and somewhat rude, came over with the necessary tools to begin my pedicure. I found it odd when she started throwing my foot around rather carelessly, but I brushed it off and tried to focus on enjoying my pedicure. Unfortunately, she rushed through the entire process, completing it in only 10 minutes. This left me baffled, so I asked her if she was finished with my pedicure. To my surprise, she replied affirmatively. Curious about the type of pedicure I received, I inquired whether it was the basic or volcano pedicure. She informed me that it was the basic one, despite my explicit request for the volcano pedicure. Disappointed and frustrated, I expressed my dissatisfaction and requested the service I initially asked for. However, she dismissively told me it was too late, seemingly unwilling to accommodate my request. Feeling deceived and disrespected, I decided to leave the chair. As I did so, the staff members began to confront me as if I had done something wrong for simply wanting what I had asked for and paying for it. I couldn't understand why I was being put through this ordeal instead of receiving the service I had requested. To make matters worse, when I attempted to record the treatment with my camera, they locked me inside the building and called the police. I was shocked and scared when one of the salon employees, the woman who had done my feet, physically assaulted me to prevent me from leaving. It was only through her aggressive act that I managed to escape the building. This entire experience left me deeply disappointed and dismayed. Not only did I receive subpar service, but I was also subjected to mistreatment and physical harm. It is important to share my story so that others can be aware of the unacceptable behavior that occurred at Cute Nails. No one should have to endure what I went through. Please share this post to spread awareness and let's hope that Cute Nails takes appropriate action to address the issues I faced. I been going to this place for over 8 years this woman charges me $165 literally almost every time I go I don't mind because I'm extra on my nails but to get them done Saturday and come back that same afternoon because stones have fallen off and then days later more continue to come as if I wasn't just there is ridiculous and when I finally make the time to come back for the second time these mfs talking to me like I'm a child who doesn't know what or how customer service or great service looks like will definitely not return just pathetic

The man who works here attitude is terrible . The lady done my lashes and less than 24 hours later they came off with no water contact . Came back the next day and no one managed to offer to reapply . They did not care.
