I moved to Memphis from Charlotte NC in 2017 and didn't know anyone or any businesses. I had a great relationship with CVS in NC so I started going to this CVs on Union because it was so close to my employer at that time. Before establishing primary care I went to the Minute Clinic with frequency especially as I began to have frequent sinus issues that the care team figured out was allergies. Never had allergies before! I ended up with that awesome care team because the CVS manager at the time saw me come in multiple times for OTC care and he introduced me to Minute Clinic options, suggesting I needed more care. I am so glad he did. The staff was always kind. They were like my first extended family members when I moved especially because they are open 24 hours. There has been a lot of turnover since 2017 so I don't have the familiar faces anymore but I still use this pharmacy and extend them the patience that an obviously over capacity staff of people need and deserve. Even at their busiest they are professional and I find them mostly compassionate in their care. I am horrified that so very many people have had bad service interactions. And wanted to name that has not been my experience. I hope the staff turnover stabilizes and I can see familiar faces again and I hope the pharmacy staff gets the additional staff or support they need to extend the great care I have experienced to others.

So my doctor calls in a new generic prescription to CVS - Union Ave where I have done business for over 15 years. I drive over to pick up the medicine. It's ready but it cost 660.00. Seems CVS switched me to the same meds but a proprietary, brand version (Vascapa). I decline purchase go home and research the drug. Good RX get me a discount code reducing my cost to 85.00. I go back to CVS but the pharmacy is re-booting their computer. Go home try to call them 2-3 times - go through the call sequencing messages. NO ONE ANSWERS at the pharmacy. Four days later - no meds: I am done-AMAZON here I come.

I'm from out of town and desperately needed my medication and with the help from the pharmacy staff over at CVS, they were able to make all things possible even with the help in getting the price dropped tremendously using all the discount cards they managed to find and apply to my prescription! I talked with my doctor earlier this afternoon and with their help as well I got my meds before the night was over with! I highly recommend CVS Pharmacy!

This pharmacy has the worst customer service ever. Was hung up on when I tried to call in a prescription. Long wait times to get prescriptions filled and long wait times when picking up prescription. Get it filled elsewhere!

It's a great place for quick finds. The drive-thru line for the pharmacy can be a long wait, but you can still get your meds without too much issue. It's an odd balance of convenience & needed patience. All in all it's a good location and store.

I see this pharmacy only has 2.3 stars . They are so rude ! I am very sick . I have an absest in my back & my provider wrote me a perscription for 70 pain pills which they have filled the last 5 months until today when they only gave me 60 pills . My provided called them and they hung up on her 3 times . When I called and spoke to the direktoraat of the pharmacy he told me " find another pharmacy we dont need your buisness . I am very sick & they treated me like a dog

Consistently filled my prescription wrong, pharmacist and pharmacy techs were all very dismissive when I tried to correct them. I eventually got it somewhat corrected after arguing with them for 30 minutes about it. You’re better off going to another pharmacy, this one is trash.

I had someone pick up my meds today and the pharmacy charged $54 for a script completely covered by insurance. I went in and argued with the pharmacist who told me, at first, tough luck we can't take it back. I said I would call every government agency that I can think of and wouldn't you know they refunded the money but than tried to upsell me on a vaccine that I don't need. I replied with you just attempted to rip me off and now you want me to give you more $? No thanks. Every time I go in there it is always an issue with my scripts. I know this must be a training store but take responsibility for your mistakes and at least apologize for the problem.

They never pick up the phone. I feel sorry for any middle aged or older people who attempt to do business with these people. Didn't say a word to me and left me on hold for 40+ minutes. I just hung up. Do yourself a favor and go to another store

April was very helpful in finding me exactly what I wanted very quickly. If all CVS employees were as kind and helpful as April it would make them better. She knew exactly where the products were that I was looking for. I was in and out in 2 minutes. Thanks to April and CVS.
