The Greyhound Bus Station in Memphis is located fairly close to the Memphis Airport. It serves as a good station, with some noting it is the best of the two in the area. The station is air conditioned and provides a proper building, not just a gas station. However, layover times can be long and inconvenient. The selection of food available could be better. The bus station attendants can be a great help. On some occasions, police may conduct bag checks for contraband at the terminal, which can be an inconvenience. Overall, it is a functional station for travel, with the city of Memphis itself noted as a great place with many businesses.
Don't advice to carry cash around here, people get robbed at gun point at all times. Do NOT follow anyone to the bathroom. If someone tells you to come with them, just go straight to a security guard or plainly call 911.

The homeless and drunks have the run there. I didn’t feel safe at all.
