“I had an issue on the correspondence of my order and the owner Chase called out of the blue and explained they were swamped and apologized for the delay. I have been in sales for many years and can count on one hand the times an owner called me on a weekend to make it right. But this is the solid character of Ax Arms ownership. When I am in the market for B&T firearms and accessories, they will be my only stop. They are a Class act!!”
“Overall, the store itself is solid—staff is professional and the process is straightforward. That said, this review is mainly about the transfer fee, which I think is excessive. Most shops in the area charge roughly $25–$65 for a transfer and background check. This location charged me $87 for the same service, which is well above the typical range.
Because of that, I would not recommend this store as an online firearm pickup location unless you’re comfortable paying a premium transfer fee. The business is fine otherwise, but the pricing on transfers is hard to justify.”
“I'm an out of state resident who travels for work. Had to fly into a non 2A friendly state and required assistance from a FFL to help me out of this jam. Mr. McGee not only provided me with reasonable service, he was very responsive and professional with great communication. Cool little shop with quality items. Would definitely recommend this business to anyone.
