I bought a milwaukee battery powered heat gun for work (plumbing). The heat gun did not put out enough heat for my application so i attempted to return the tool same day after i got off work. The tool was in pristine condition being that it was purchased same day and i had only attempted to use it once. But because there was a small amount of drywall dust on the tool, my return was denied. The two young women behind the customer service desk accused me of buying a new tool and attempting to return a used tool. After trying to plead my case they accused me of using the tool once with no intention of keeping it. I understand Home Depot reserves the right to deny returns but i did not appreciate being accused of fraudulent behavior. A simple "We cannot accept your return" would have been sufficient.

I Love my Neighborhood Home Deepot, butttt I recently placed an order, received all products but my Double pack of Compressed air for my son he'd been wanting for his laptop, at the time of placing the order I wasn't told it wasn't in stock, proof picture Verified not in picture as well, so I've reached out, an were told that on their end, it was put in that it wasn't in stock, an the young lady stated she dont know y at the time of purchase i wasn't told( it was an onlinestocks, tho) but still have yet to receive it or have yet to receive a refund due to I made the purchase with a gift card, it's been going on 2 weeks now, i was also told if i wasn't able to come to that particular store with ID, they'd send me a check in the mail and I told them when I reached out I would still prefer to have the product for my son, so hopefully they send it, but have receive nothing as of yet, Still all smiles tho🙃😄✌️

The lady that was assisting self checkout tonight was great 😭 personal and helped us check out after seeing us tote three kids. So refreshing, this location is the best.

The customer service on 1/25/25 was excellent! EVERY employee on the floor greeted me, with one asking if assistance was needed. Self check out staff was very pleasant as well.

Pathetic customer service and organization. My customer paid for an exterior door a day before for me to pick up and deliver to them to install. Not only did we wait 45 minutes for them to finally bring the door out because they didn't do their job properly and I didn't set it aside for a will call, but the door itself was broken and it was the only one in the store. They told me if I can fix it they will discount the door, but the nature of the damage already voided any kind of manufacturer's warranty. It seems to me what should have happened was as soon as my customer paid for the door they should have taken down off the shelf, put it on the cart with paperwork attached to it so the door would not be sold in the meantime to anybody else since it was already paid for by somebody else. Had that happened, they would have seen the damage and called my customer to warn them about that. But nobody had enough brain power to think that through.

Tanya, latonya, another unnamed person who answered phone and refused to give her name, Store manager Art, all rude. Ridiculous..spent 3k only to be rudely dealt with and basically humiliated all because I asked who I was speaking with. Sorry but this is unprofessional. The only reason to not give a name is just to skirt the responsibility of answering phone and actually working. They told me "at this store we dont give out our names". Was unaware home depot didnt want people to know who they were speaking with to hold someone accountable. Maybe to complain, also maybe to compliment either way, I cant think of an honest person not wanting to give a first name. That person and each one needs to be replaced.
